Great Location! Bed was comfortable. It can be noisy at night. Minor repairs need to be addressed….dripping sink

There were some small issues with the shower door and the room door but they were handled promptly by the front desk and didnt impact our stay at all. We would definitely stay here again. Everyone working there is so friendly and helpful also.
Exceptionally convenient to Bourbon st and environs.
It was a nice place but our room was up 3 1/2 flights of stairs and due to medical issues it was difficult to go up and down the stairs multiple times

Experiencing a few nights in an authentic New Orleans plantation home was amazing. However a few things people should know. The staircases are like a labyrinth you climb up and down several narrow staircases to reach most of the room so people who can't climb should at least view the courtyard. The beautiful rooms and atmosphere are well worth it. The fixtures are modern rather than original but the bones of the property are original. There is a security deposit which is left out of the fess included as well as a $45 per night parking fee. If you can find free parking the next street back then walk isn't far at all. There wasn't any water that I could find but again over all it's a great property.
peggy.partnerOct 11, 2024 The staff was amazing! So hard to find good customer service these days. The location was great, it was so close to bourbon street but not so close it was loud. Walking distance to Jackson square, shopping and so many restaurants. Only issue was the room was a little awkward and we had issues with our toilet.

Great location on a historic building. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. One caveat: there is no elevator, so if you come with luggage and you are on the 3rd floor be prepared or ask for help (they are happy to help).
The staff was very attentive and personable. The noise from the street at night was a bit rough. Made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

First, let me say that the hotel was amazing. It was very clean and had a lot of history. They did not have any fans in the room. The air conditioning worked well. They have zero control of the people in the area, it is what it is. They did make us feel safe by having a digital key on our phone that let us in the front door. The staff was amazing and so nice. We would definitely stay here again.
I would like a full refund. There was blood on the sheets, a broken mirror where the glass was loose and could have falling onto me, no hot water, and no water pressure. The water would literally turn off during a shower. The television remote didn't work. There weren't any wash cloths. There wasn't an extra roll of toilet tissue. I reported this and there wasn't any change outside of the wash cloths. By far my worst hotel experience.
Every person I met working at the hotel was unusually friendly. I stayed 4 nights and I have never had a better experience! Well done!
An historical hotel 1 block from Burbon st for less than a night at the Days inn....comfortable and with 19th century charm. The rooms are small but thats what you get from a 200 year old hotel. The convenient location overcomes any small issues that may arise. It is located in a perfect spot, 1 block from Burbon st yet the room is quiet. There is secured parking (for a fee) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend highly.
