james.friendsSep 22, 2024 I like the property, wish there was fan in the individual rooms....drown out some outside noise. Toilet wasn't flushing normal, had to hold down handle. Shower was clean, but paint was peeling off tub....yes, it looked like paint. One dislike was the pressure to go to "timeshare" meeting. Wouldn't take No for an answer that I didn't want to go. If I knew this was that kind of property, I would of not had stayed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

deborah.familySep 07, 2024 My sister and I come here every year. It is our happy relaxing place. Only downside was pool was not finished yet (destroyed by Ian) but we still had the pool deck and the beach.
pool is no available the bathroom is bad
Over all this was a nice place to stay. The only thing was being lock out of the beach after so late Going on late night strolls are the best and we weren’t able to do that
Great trip, 3 out of my last 4 business trips, I've stayed here. The guard when I always check in late is very helpful.

We love Tropic Sun Towers in Ormond beach. Easy booking and clean condo. Ocean front with plenty of parking.
sharon.friendsJun 07, 2024 Pool and hot tub were getting redone so no access to them. Back door to the deck never locked. People were hanging out right outside the door and I was sleeping there.
Check in was a nightmare. Made us move rooms from one building to the other, after the first night.
Woke us in the morning to get out as we didn't belong in that room.
We had 2 towels and wash rags for the 4 days. I dish rag and one dish towel but had a pile of pillowcases for some reason.
Our key cards didn't work to get in the building, so we had to intercom them to open the doors. The staff were very rude about this. It isn't supposed to be locked until dusk but was. Price was good but I see why. They should let people know the amenities really are when checking the web.
Nice clean comfortable. Great view of the ocean. Nice sun decks on both sides. Underground parking. Nice people.
When booking on hotels.com it says there is a pool and hot tub(spa) but the pool and hot tub are inoperable from the last hurricane. The rooms all appear to be ocean view and they’re not. The hotel did end up moving us after the first day to an oven front since that’s what we were under the impression we were booking but the lack of pool was disappointing. The ocean view rooms are 10x better so I highly recommend that but overall it was a nice place and I’d stay again

The property was beautiful and the scenery was breath taking but the room smelled like paint.
The hotel is under construction, the pool was empty, there were no beach towels if I wanted to sit on the lounging area.
They were power washing the hotel and there was dust everywhere. Inside my room was clean but the balcony was really dirty which made impossible to sit and enjoy the view.
The toilet was not working properly.
The customer service was good!
