Poor Stay

The property had only one poor lady to manage entire hotel when we arrived. There was no one help to take luggage to room so i had to take all five bags to room. On entering the room it was too congested for 3 beds & once you place your luggage there is no place to move. Ac was not working & technician are not in house and in my two days stay it was not resolved. I was provided with fans. In day time it was bit got but at night once you open window it was pleasent. There is no house keeping everything is self service & even phone in room was not working which couldn't be fixed in two days. I was given only one day breakfast for above difficulty.

Very unsafe place

The hotel was in a very unsafe and risky area. I was travelling with my wife and even it 9 pm in night there were many people who were taking drugs. Also it was a red light area so it's very unsafe to travel with family.

Reception staff not good

Reception staff was not helping us. We told them about the problem in the room but they were simply ignoring us. Rooms were good but staff. Very bad
A well appointed hotel in a peaceful place. Nice and cordial reception. Large, spa is and comfortable rooms. Clean linens and all accessories for a nice night sleep. Easy access to the local transportation.

Everything was great- cleanliness, amenities, location but the WiFi wasn't working. Centrally located, just 1 km walk from Grand Place and a few hundred metres walk from Brussels Gare du Nord.

Hotel has very good location, from where you can easily and quickly go to Brussels's main airport or take a train to various places in Belgium. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to the Royal Palace, the city's main square and the nearby attractions.

Hotel has very good location, near the north station, from where you can easily and quickly go to Brussels's main airport (BRU) or take a train to various places in Belgium. The hotel is also within easy walking distance (several minutes) to the Royal Palace, the city's main square and the nearby attractions. Close to shopping street. Two minutes walking from hotel is botanic garden. Adequate value for the money paid. Reception staff nice, friendly and helpful. Room clean, not too big but for a short trip for one person is OK. Recommend.

Air conditioning doesn't work. Poor service at help desk. Room wasn't cleaned the first day despite us leaving the, "make my room" sign, when told this, the manager said that it wouldn't be done the first day. We just wanted fresh towels and the bathroom to be cleaned. There are plumbing issues and the bathroom gets a little flooded from the shower.

Terrible Stay

This hotel is very cheap and same, as the facilities are also very cheap. Rooms are very compact and there is no ventilation in bathroom. There is no space anywhere in this hotel. You will feel like as if you are staying in some dirty space, difficult to stay even for one night. Finally we changed the hotel.

Do not go by the name. Best Western city centre! It is a very misleading name. We got down near the city centre and then realized it is in Nord. Very dirty area. Not very safe. Staff at reception was not welcoming. They were not ready to even guide us to the near by railway station. Not recommended for a family stay.

Location was good and that is why we stayed here. Near to main shopping arcade and walking distance away from nearest train station. One matter of worry is neighbourhood which looked shady and not that safe. Although nothing bad happened with us but still, it did not look that lively and friendly. Major issue was the front office manager, receptionist the one who comes in the morning and day shift. He was not at all friendly and supportive. Infact, he was rude to an extent of telling us to go to an information desk located in market, when asked for places to visit nearby. The other office manager evening shift was very nice and helped us with directions and other details.
