Chris, who greeted us on arrival, was very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean, very neat and a super comfortable bed. The touch of humour in the house rules made them fun to read.
The mini kitchenette in the passage was great with microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery. Higly recommended.
Super clean. Friendly staff. Great location.
jeffrey.familyOct 07, 2024 Superb stay. Only one night, wished we had stayed for several more. Just a warning - steep stairs in the front to get to the hotel. Never tried the back entrance, so I do not know about that. Would definitely stay here again if in Nelson.
Fantastic little inn located in Nelson. Great check in experience, awesome room and you can’t be the location. Definitely stay longer next time.

I want to go back and stay in one of the larger rooms. They look like fun. The staff were helpful and kind. Parking, as is for all facilities in Nelson, is a problem. The Cloudside handles that by paying parking meters of patrons wherever they park.
The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs in the hotel, so be aware. It’s in a great location right downtown so you can walk everywhere.
Quaint house, lots of character except our room was extremely small -- our coffee bar and fridge was less than ideal, It was down the hall and shared with other guests Not one of our better stays

The room we stayed in was exceptionally small. For nearly $200/ night, it features a great location, but the mattress was dated, the room was hot, and there was no in room coffee maker.

Room was well appointed, albeit small - the Fir room, and perhaps we should in retrospect have taken a bigger room. Top notch hotel, thank yiu Chris. Loved the useful local dining options info card and the especially informative write up on Starbucks.

Love the overall vibe of this hotel. Super clean, great amenities. No elevator, as it is an old house but it’s been renovated nicely. It feels cozy, with a hint of luxury.

Best location & very nice historic hotel
Huge, beautiful room, with a little sun porch. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. There was only room for four cars in their parking lot but if you had to park on the street they even fed the meter for you. We would absolutely stay there next time we're in Nelson
