4. Food quality is okaish. Stay is okaish. Considering the money there are so many other properties available. Basic amenities like tea not available. Complimentary services like massage photography not provided. So over all it was a okaish stay. Vegetarian food options are also very less.

You can go and stay here without any second thoughts. One of the best resor

Superb room but not so great food. Stay was comfortable and very polite staff. Not sure if it's normal but got charged even for ice bucket )

Rooms were good but the pickup drop facility to airport was not provided. Indian food at the hotel is very poor quality and not indian test.

Excellent resort. Nice food, service, rooms. One should definitely give it a try. River field views, pool, restaurant, everything is there. Free foot massage and one time photography.

This was by far our worst experience , talking about the food, they will just give u a single dish if food is in your package, the staff enters the room without any permission, they will call tou endlessly to pay even for a Peanut. Not at all safe. There are lizards and mosquitoes all around. Staff was non supportive.

I am writing this review after staying at sankara with family for 3 nights. Here’s my take. Pros: 1. Centrally located, close to monkey forest, campuhan ridge walk, goa gajah temple, ubud palace, art market. 2. You can rent a scootie/taxi/self dive car from just infront of hotel (jovial guy) and explore ubud on own. The scooty rent starts from 100k id r depending on type of scooty 3. The rooms are excellent, very neat, good beds, all major amenities that one could need. The bathrooms are very spacious as well. 4. The resort provides free foot massage to guests, free yoga session and a free nature walk, not to forget complementary afternoon tea/coffee. 5. The staff here is one of the best thing, they are so polite, hospitable and greet you with genuine smile each time. 6. Resort facilities like swimming pool, spa are one of the best in this area. There’s a supermarket nearby from where you can get any daily essential if you want. 7. American and bali breakfast are so yummy, highly recommended. 8. Last but not the least, given 1 more visit, i would most certainly choose sankara resort again. Its just perfect for family and couple vacations. Cons: i did not find even a single one during my 3 days visit and thats why it receives 5 stars in all aspects.

Terrible Stay

Property is quite secluded. I have booked deluxe pool pvt villa, but after reaching i realised that the pool is not pvt, anybody passing by can easily peep into the pool. Secondly, our room had lizard while we checked in, but the management did nothing in changing our room or doing something abt lizard. They said it's common here. Thirdly, breakfast there is quite boring and very limited for pure vegetarian ppl.

The room was very poorly lit and the floor of the room used to get wet when the ac was turned on for more than an hour! the breakfast options were very limited and average. No buffet. The property was small but nice. Shuttle service was very convenient.

The location and hotel area is good but the rooms are overpriced compared to the quality of rooms. The whole place seems dated and needs a major overhaul. The in house restaurant one can avoid as it is overpriced and food quality is also not great. We stayed at another resort much cheaper than this with better rooms so this was a sort of letdown
