The Kurumba Maldives was opened in 1972 and was the first private island resort in the Maldives. It was last renovated in 2004 and has 180 rooms, bungalows, villas, and residences.

How to Reach the Property
The Kurumba Maldives is located on a private island in North Male Atoll, and is easily accessible from Male City.Seawalls all around the island make it safe to swim in the ocean waters.
The Kurumba Maldives offers shared speedboat transfers from Male International Airport. It is a 15-minute speedboat ride and costs USD 122 per adult and USD 61 per child (2 to below 12 years) .Private speedboat transfers can be arranged and cost USD 185 per adult and USD 93 per child (2 to below 12 years) . The costs are for roundtrip/return transfers and inclusive of taxes.Transfers are mandatory and guests have to share details of arrival and departure flights at least 72 hours prior to arrival.Payment has to be done directly at the property. The property will arrange for the transfer and share details such as pick-up point, kiosk at the airport etc.
