7th floor is great but could be amazing.
Room with a view would be nice.

When I booked this room, it included pictures of other rooms in the building. I don't know why Hotels think that this is acceptable. I thought this room had a balcony and it didn't. we were really penned in. This was my anniversary, and I wanted a balcony. Also the Hottub was barely warmer than the pool. the coldest hottub I have ever been in, which was what I was most exited about. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one, is that the staff had no pool hours. At midnight they came turned everything off and told us we could leave when we wanted. This was nice, since so many horrible resorts have rules that ruin your vacation, they were relaxed. However the room pictures and the cold hottub was frusterating.

A/c was leaking there was more space for closet than bedroom. I will never go back. Spend good money and go next door to the Grand mirimar. So much better and beautiful.
steven.familyMar 28, 2024 A little off the beaten path which suits us fine. The staff were wonderful. We had a spacious 2 bed 2 bath with full kitchen. Definitely not walkable to the center of Puerto Vallarta. Amazing views and nice pool and jacuzzi on the 7th floor. Property is a bit older, but clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Love,y view atop the hotel, on pool deck, although pool was quite chilly, not too large. Hot tub was quite hot, nice in the a,m. Had a very small room, might be a idea to turn off the sound of elevator buttons, so can’t hear them hear them from that room,
Beautifully located. No well maintained. Very pleasant staff but the rooms need maintenance.

Large suites with amazing views. Very spacious and relatively inexpensive. Service from the staff was good. Sergio was the only English speaking staff so had to use translation programs a lot. They were helpful though and patient as we communicated.
The not so good
Older hotel. Needs some upgrades and renovations. Balcony Jacuzzi did not heat up. Rooftop pools are tiny. Main pools are not working.

The restaurant next door provided a very nice dining experience as this particular hotels restaurant has been closed since Covid. Amazing views! Best choice ever!!
Avoid this place if you can
Unfortunately, this is not a resort to make your destination. The room is clean, although the sheets were stained. There’s an empty hot tub on the deck. There’s an empty pool down below. The paint is in disrepair. We could not take a shower because there’s no water pressure. There’s no hot water at all. There are no services here. No restaurant. It is really isolated and nothing to do on the property.
Unique property with impressive view of the coastline
The views are spectacular however the property is high up in the hills, if you have a car it won't be an issue, if you do not, you will require to travel by taxy at all times.
The staff were superb and really gave you the feeling that nothing was too much trouble and they were there to help in any way. Jorge is incredibly efficient, friendly and has an outstanding customer service attitude.
Highly recommended.
The worst hotel, when I arrived my room was not ready and it was 1 am in the morning , my check in time was 3 pm , the receptionist placed me in a different room and let me know that they will switch me next day, I asked them, does this mean I have wait for you and missed all my activities ?, they said yes because you need to change , I let them know that I was leaving early and not coming back until later. When I came back they moved me to a different room the bed gave allergy I was scratching all night along with my houseband and couldn't sleep all night. When I check out they told me that the terminal was not working so I wasted another hour so they figured out the system. It's not the first time I stayed here but because the hotel has a beautiful view And I thought maybe they were having a bad day , but not this hotel is a mess, no to mention the manager was a jerk.
Perfect Overnight Stay, clean, quiet comfortable
Great overnight stay. We did choose an economy room without a view. But it was clean and very comfortable and we spent most of our time on the beautiful rooftop. The views were beautiful and pool and hot tub area was perfect after a long day of site seeing.
This is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta city centre. Located on the mountain top overlooking the south end and Romantico area. You can walk to the Romantico area in under 30 minutes and the Malecon boardwalk in under 45 minutes. We used Uber & taxis frequently. 120 pesos from the hotel to the Malecon.
The panoramic studio we had was wonderful and has a fantastic view of the mountains and ocean (603A)
My wife and I absolutely love the small rooftop pool and hot tub. Relaxing there with drink in hand was amazing.
Jorge was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very friendly fellow who is willing to assist in any way.
My wife and I absolutely recommend Hotel Mondavi. And you’ll love their daily rates!!
jared.friendsJul 06, 2023 Good value for the least expensive room with no view. Enjoyed the roof top pool and hot tub and great views from there . Clean and bathroom worked well . Friendly staff also. I didn't have any issues getting Uber rides either which some people stated . Also if you don't feel like going down the hill there is restaurant next door
