The property was good. The view form the restaurant at the top floor with the pool is amazing. Though some renovation work is going on but still they have not compromised with services. Sammer at reception was very helpful and cordial along with the security staff.

Vegetarian food options should be there for purely vegetarian people. You can put more succulent plants in the room for positivity and good vibes. Services and staff behavior was good. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks

Hotel has got a fantastic rooftop pool, the staff are extremely courteous. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Overall it was a good stay.

experience in hotel was wonderful in terms of service n cleanliness. food was exceptional. I tried food in kathmandu city but didn't like as food prepared in hotel shambala was mind blowing. must try it!!!

visited Kathmandu to pay obeisance to Pashupati Maharaj the stay was so comfortable, forgot all the day's tiredness. However, food is expensive.

Hotel Shambala, Kathmandu

Although, not in the center of Kathmandu, but hotel Shambala is very much accessible to all the major attractions of Kathmandu. It had a very nice infinity pool on the top floor overlooking the mountains. The hotel was very clean with nice aroma (thanks to an in-house spa) and a nice indoor and outdoor restaurant. They also gave good rates on foreign exchange and had all allied services (MT Everest flight, pokhra paragliding, etc) also through a very nice guy by name Ashish. A nice stay
