I thought that the room was very good. The only criticism would be that there were people staying in the flat above me that seemed to run marathons at all hours of the day and night. Overall, I'd recommend staying at U Studios Paraparaumu Beach.

The fridge was over freezing. Internet connection did not work. However, beds were comfortable and linen clean. Our towels were changed daily, although we didn't specifically ask.
Easy access great parking, personal touches
terrible service. we were next to the hotel and told to have to book online no matter what. online booking required us to enter a credit car and online access - the latter was not provided by them. when we mentioned it they insisted. sth wen wrong with the booking. expedia was willing to rebook, but the manager of ustudio paraparamutu was not willing to do that. when we told the story in paraparamutu, multiple people mentioned that ustudios was widely known for exactly these issues in paraparamutu. just don't book them, there are other nice places to stay there that are open after hours, accept direct payments, are service friendly and nice (just not them).

samara.partnerSep 06, 2024 Me and my partner loved it, such a cosy little room and the area around us was amazing with all the shops and easy dining.
Only thing that was a downfall of the stay was the family above us they were very loud and the little child would stomp around from 5am which woke us up a few times, aswell as coming up to my car and touching it they seemed lovely just are very loud footed and not very courteous to the people below. I don’t know if they live there permanently or if they were just visiting like us but if they are permanent stays please advise them about maybe being light footed and no stomping just in case for the next person who stays in Room 6

We arrived late and left early and that was ok but for a family of 4 was a tight fit. If we were staying any longer It would have been too much. The main bed was comfortable but the bunks were very noisy as the kids moved in their sleep. The bathroom was on the older side. But as we were there to sleep and keep going it did the job.
Questionable value for money. Check in process at 7pm was a nightmare
