shannon.partnerNov 07, 2024 A nice room for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, room was large, and overall clean. The hot tub was a nice touch - make sure you call to reserve the tub. The “porch” is simply some chairs on the walkway in front of the room by where the cars park - not a private area. Easy walk to the lake and beautiful walking path around the lake. Lots of shopping and food options nearby.

Coffee, soaps etc were of top quality.
Units are a little small for a family of 4 in regards to storing luggage but you can make it work.
Mark and Jacqui are two of the most friendly hosts I’ve ever had. Their hospitality and kindness has had a tremendously positive impact on my stay in Wanaka. I highly recommend Archway
Lovely property situated just above the Main Street. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Management and staff go above and beyond for service and friendliness.
Great place to stay from location to the super friendly staff it has everything we needed as a family.
Very clean and cosy rooms, and our kids enjoyed the kids area. Mark and Jacque were very helpful.

Newly renovated rooms, great location & facilities
Stayed for 6 nights during the July school holidays for a ski trip.
We were in a family studio and the layout was perfect, there were 2 single beds in a separate room with a closing door which was great for when the kids went to bed, and we could still use the main area with lights on.
The room itself seemed to be newly renovated, it was all spotlessly clean when we arrived and every day the housekeeper had been by. Very warm, heating in every room, underfloor bathroom heating was a nice touch.
Kitchenette had everything we needed to prep simple meals, fridge already had a bunch of individual milk servings for tea, but we didn't use it as we bought our own 2L bottle.
Used 1 free 1 hour hot tub session as we stayed more than 5 nights and it was great after skiing. Would recommend even if you have to pay. Kids enjoyed the trampoline too.
Staff were friendly and helpful, gave us recommendations for what to do locally.
Our room was directly opposite the construction site but it never bothered us as we were always out during the day when they were working on things.
Location is convenient, short walk down the hill to restaurants and grocery stores. Woolworths Metro is probably the best.
If you're staying, I highly recommend checking out Ya Ma's, you can order and pay at the sports bar and then collect your food when ready. Delicious smashburgers and fries, and the sports bar has free foosball, pool and a lovely big fireplace. Scroggin is also nice for breakfast/lunch.

Very convenient location. Only 1min walk into town. The owners were lovely. Room was nice and tidy and the electric blankets were very much appreciated. Well stocked kitchenette. Would definitely stay again.
Mark the host has been very kind, welcoming and helpful from the start. He gave us some sincere recommendations of the area. We have enjoyed our time at Wanaka very much. We left behind some belongings in our room after check-out and we were able to go back to retrieve them with no issues. Sorry for the trouble and thank you Mark!

Noisy !! Paper thin walls - woken at 5.25 a.m hearing the neighbours through the wall. Water pressure pathetic in “peak” times. Wouldn’t stay again @ $315 per night.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. We were overjoyed with our stay & loved the little kitchen & microwave Ove.
