We stayed at the property in the last 4 days ( 3 Nights) of our 9 day trip to Phuket. I am glad we chose to do it this way. I am dividing this review into 2 sections. Approach & Accessibility, Property. Approach & Accessibility : I would rate more than desirable considering the fact that the property is off the Eastern Coast of Phuket; One has to take 10 minute speed boat ride to it. We stayed the first 5 days in Patong and I had already arrnaged for a pick up from Novotel Patong to The Village. It was seamless and on the dotted time the chauffeur came to pick us up. It was a good 45 mins from Patong to The ferry where one is to catch the boat. My advice, stock up on things before you head to island. Go to a 7/11 and buy your essential knick knacks. While the property has a store inside it’s got only some stuff. Once you reach the ferry, am nitpicking here, the staff there was limited. Maybe it was the time I went there but for us we just had 1 guy helping us there. Like I said I am nitpicking, it’s not a major hassle. This place is quite far from any of the attractions of Phuket so if you are heading here know fully well that you are gonna be in the island. Lest you will end up spending a lot in transfers. Again the Barcelo Coconut Island arranges a tours for all this but you have pay for all the ferry rides and amount further for the taxi rides. Plus most of the attractions of Phuket are on the West/Southside which would be far from here. Our intention was to just go relax and just chill there and it worked perfectly for us. Property: Its one of the most beautiful properties built in a picturesque island of Coconut Village. No complaints absolutely here, its all good and more. We stayed in Sea View Pool villa which had large 2 bedrooms, A full blown kitchen and fridge with a reasonably large living room. One of the room had a Jacuzzi as well but the kicker was the private pool. It was AMAZING! My kid, wife and mother wouldn’t get out of it. They have 3 other categories, garden view pool, Grand sea View which is larger version and possibly a duplex with a private pool ( though I suspect , you share this with another villa. But its a huge pool ). They also have an Ocean Front View which is a villa by the beach. We were extremely happy with our accommodation. They have various activities everyday so it would be wise to ask them beforehand the schedule. This can help you plan and trust me I regret the fact I didn’t know this before. They run tours from the Barcelo Coconut Island to Phi phi and James bond island which is awesome but they do it on different days so knowing the schedule in advance will really help you plan your vacation. They also so a small tour to a nearby island for snorkeling. Also the beach itself has activities like Stand up Paddle, Kayaking, massage by the beach etc. The beach itself is beautiful but isnt crystal clear. My only complaint was the food was just average, again they have a large spread and I was quite ok with it but for the vegetarians in my household it wasn’t great. They have 3 restaurants though Thai, Italian and Japanese. So you can take your pick. The have a nice bar by the beach which is also great. All in all it was exactly what we had hoped for. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing trip to Phuket.

The resort is located on the quieter side of phuket. The entrance is through a ferry which starts from two different (but closely situated) piers, depending on the tide. The ferry used during low tide is basically a longtail boat which felt a little unsafe and it wasn’t maintained well. The regular ferry during high tide is good. The biggest drawback is that you need to heckle with pvt taxis waiting at the pier to take you to near places to buy food/water/drinks. It can cost you 500-800 baht for a round trip to the closest 7/11. As the resort is so remotely located, you may have no option but to pay for these overpriced taxis. The resort is however on a beautiful island with lush greenery and direct access to the beach. Within the property the walk to the restaurants, spa, lobby, common pool, etc. From your room can be quite long depending on the villa/suite you are located at. They have one thai restaurant and an italian restaurant. The spa services are good and well organised. The property is very clean and cared for.

It was a great place, linsly the manager was a great man and the entire staff was too good. Understand its a tropical island so mosquitoes in the evening and baby lizards were there, not in the room but outside the villa. It was a nice place but pier which is leam hin pier to catch the ferry from phuket is a good walk i had my mother 76 years old, although she managed walking but for others very difficult, not a great for person with wheelchair. Also we reached pretty late around 8 pm so there were no lights at the pier so make sure your mob batteries are fully charged as u might have to use the torch while walking. Gireshow at the resort was great, breakfast is very good spread, pool is great, but beach is slightly disappointing as water is sluggy near the resort pier and very rocky if you go bit far, but walking on the sand is ok as its not the fine sand. But stay was good, spa jaccuzi is relaxing and spa girl was too good and friendly, very nice and very polite. Worth visiting for sure,.

The place is really pretty. The rooms are nice, it's on a separate Island away from the hustle bustle, but the food is really bad. The breakfast was good though, but the food in the restaurants were not up to the mark. Had instant noodles for dinner twice because the food I ordered was inedible. The food is inedible and overpriced. Also, getting around from The Barcelo Coconut Island to Phuket is a bit of a hassle. As it's located on an Island, you have to use the Barcelo Coconut Island shuttle service, which is not free per Side and at night.
The bathroom had no doors, not helpful when you eat spicy Thai food.

Location very peaceful being an Island resort. Food- since we are vegetarian we had very few options available but the options were quite delicious and well made. Villa- beautiful villa, interiors well done. Beds were not very comfortable, wi-fi too weak and also the bathroom layout in the main bedroom of the villa was weird and strange. Service staff is extremely courteous, prompt and helpful. The swimming pool area with slides was an added advantage for family. Beach activities very professional 2 nights we enjoyed thoroughly.

The check-in was very grand by the check out was not expected to be soo worst.They took us to a place which we are not even aware of which was completely like a forest and leave us there and never helped us carrying our luggage’s to the boat even if it was their duty, they didn’t do that and even if we asked them, they never responded to get our luggage’s. The boat which they offer during check-in is very grand and while checking out, we can’t expect that kind of a boat which is completely worst.

We chose the villa for our holiday. It was amazing. You have a huge lobby and kitchen with all amenities provided including a pool (private) on the ground floor. The bedrooms are on the first floor and very well maintained. They had the old version tv which can be changed to smart tv. You can easily spend 3 nights at this property and is equally good for families. Water cabs are available every 30 min till 12 am post which there will be a charge of 300 b.

It was the best honeymoon we could hope for! We had such a relaxing and peaceful time. The Barcelo Coconut Island and its staff went out of their was to make our stay memorable. Had a wonderful time. The Barcelo Coconut Island is beautiful with all the facilities one could hope for. All the three restaurants serve the most delicious food. The breakfast buffet is huge and again very tasty. The view from the Barcelo Coconut Island is to die for!

Had stayed here for 3 nights in a 1 BHK villa with a private pool. The accessibility and the staff were really good. A few things I felt were the air conditioning could have been even better. And also the hot water provided was not satisfactory. We also had a private dinner, the arrangements were really very good. The above few improvements will make this property even better. Overall a peaceful stay is what we experienced.

We stayed for two nights. The resort is ok. An island slightly away from the mainland and accessible by boat. They have 3 restaurants. We ate at the continental and Italian ones. Since we are vegetarian we didn't eat at Koko which was meant to be the fine dine. It was a good break. Their cycles do need repair and the water in the suite jacuzzi needs cleaning.

Away from the noise world it's a nice place to relax with family, breakfast was good even you can get vegetarian food which was difficult to get. I asked for chapati in breakfast which i good in no time and was freshly made. Have taken food for dinner as i thought I won't get any vegetarian food but later regretted as i got everything there.

Its was a great experience to stay at Island Barcelo Coconut Island. The private pool villas and 4 hour trip to beside Island was best boat starts at 1045 in morning and they will pick up at 1445 every one should experience this. Indian chicken biriyani I really enjoyed over all a wonderful holiday location.

Its a very good place to stay. It is bit far from patong beach but its worthy to stay here. Have facility both for family with kids and accommodate privacy for couple. A good Barcelo Coconut Island specially for honeymoon.

Everything was good just only one thing which i did not like is, they do not have doors between bathroom and bedroom.

Prices were a little pricey for the food and drinks

Awesome place to be on a Honeymoon. Nice Villas that provide privacy, friendly staff, awesome food and lot of fun activities on resort. Free Kayaking rides on the beach. 2 nice big common pools and a private pool by the Villa. The rooms are clean, big and feel royal.

Need to improve Indian food, roti was not good. The location is excellent, ambiance was also good, and hospitality was also excellent.

Only thing need to be check on is The vegetarian food option. Both in menu and breakfast.

The property is on an island with little else. Best for people who enjoy secluded stays. Private beach, and plenty of swimming pools and restaurants. Worth the money.

A place for the best relaxation on the island.

Have to increase the variety for kids. They have to add a facility of shuttle from highway to leamhin pier boat pick up as it will increase travel options from airport.

Hotel is on Coconut Island with great view of the sea. No Indian food, so it's difficult. Plus water taxi to the Phuket city and then too around 40 mins ride to Bangla road and Patong. If want to relax on beach. It's good resort.

We stayed one day in this Resort and we enjoyed The facilities a lot. The villa which we stayed was awesome.

It was really wonderful stay with family whenever I'll come to Phuket I'll stay here because it's like a heaven staff is also good and in all manners and most important the amazing lovely location from the room ultimately with family, 100% recommend I love to stay here in future also.

We had The beachfront pool villa, which was simply amazing. Great time swimming in the sea, pool slides and kayaking. Food was decent, though when we opted for the buffet one evening, the oysters were rotten, although The barbeque grub was lovely.
