Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket

We stayed as a couple for 3 days and it was a wonderful experience. I ll put the pros and cons below for people to consider while booking: pros: 1) the resort is lavish and well built on the hills and shore 2) wide buffet breakfast spread 3) the beach is internally connected so its easier to take a stroll anytime early morning or late night. Just walk a few steps from your room and you are at the private beach 4) they have free cab services from 4:30 till 9:30 to patong beach which is a blessing. We availed this almost everyday and enjoyed other sites for free. 5) the staff is well behaved, cultured and makes you feel special at all times. 6) the rooms, beds and washroom are lavishly big 7) the swimming pool is fun to be and there are plenty of photogenic sites near the beach for couples to explore cons: 1) the buffet spread is same on all days with no new items addition/replacement 2) for indians: there is not a single indian dish in their breakfast spread so plan in advance especially who cannot survive on muffins, pancakes, bread, fruits, noodles, etc. Tip: download ubereats and order anything from outside. We did that from indian restaurants for lunch and dinner as there was no indian food item in the menu of any of their restaurants in the resort and it worked well. There is live tracking and you will just have to pick your food from the entrance once the rider is there.

Book it without a second thought! if you like solitude during your stay, away from the crowd and noise, this is just the place you are looking for. Very well maintained property with friendly smiles and greetings from the staff throughout the resort. Landscaping is really nice, if you have been to one of the great resorts in maldives, definitely relatable. Private beach was peaceful with sun loungers and swings, and a great ocean view. One can sit on the patio or balcony and just keep gazing at the horizon. Greenery all around, a pool within and very well placed restaurant, bakery and grills all around it. The restaurant had very courteous staff, and the food was good, mostly thai on the menu, and the taste was worth the price. The spa was spotless, again very well trained staff. The sauna was worth it before the massage. Worth giving a visit. Front desk reception was very helpful, travel desk arranged for transfers without any hiccups. Rooms we spotless and had a very calm feeling. Well designed and with a taste. Room service was upto the expectations, were cleaned, replenished, bed made, every single day! overall a worry-free stay, which was peaceful and relaxing!

Thavorn beach village resort & spa was definitely a hidden gem. At the time of our booking, as everyone else, we just went with the photos shared by the property and their recent guests, we did not imagine it to be just like the property photos. The resort is located just at a perfect equal distance from patong beach in the south and kamala beach in the north. For every person who wants access to a private beach without local crowds and stays away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, this is a must book. Highly recommended for families as well. The food at the property was lip smacking delicious. They have plenty to offer vegan, vegetarians and non vegetarians. The massive breakfast spread contains indian, american, continental, asian and more. The staff goes out of their way to cater to the vegan needs when it comes to your morning coffee. The rooms were spacious with an easy access with a short walk (hardly 10 steps) to the beach for the garden facing rooms. The gym has just the right amount of equipment to help you fulfill your training routine while on a vacation.

The stay at thavorn was extremely good and memorable for us. We stayed at the tropical garden view villa which was just a few steps away from the kamala beach. The resort has a ton of amenities like a petting zoo, a large free-form pool, lush greens and landscapes, a cafe with scrumptious ice creams and cakes and cute props for amazing pictures. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The spa was also very good with an online system for booking massages too. The Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket was a bit far from the main patong area which is more lively and busy but the internal facilities in the resort make you want to not venture out. The buffet breakfast was good too with a few indian options as well. The kamala beach experienced low tides during the night and became really rocky. There were a lot of jelly fish in the water which may make it a little dangerous but overall, it’s good.

Our trip to Thavorn in December 2019 was nothing short of spectacular. They have their private beach, multiple stay options ranging from beach front cottages to hill side villas, cab facilities, scooter and car rentals, multiple restaurants within the premise, shuttle service to Patong Beach area multiple times in a day and a super cool and friendly staff. On their private beach area they have a few water sports facilities such as snorkeling, kayaking and jet skiing. Have a huge swimming pool and food is great. I bet you will not feel like going out in the city area, they take such good care for you. Of course it's slightly costlier but I don't think anyone else provide you such facilities at this price. The property is too good and will give u multiple experience. They have rooms on a small hill and also on the beach side. I have taken both types of rooms to experience. Hotel is lush green and give feel very close to nature. They also have small cable car 🚠 to reach hillside rooms. Sizes of rooms are huge. The bed size is too good and can accommodate a family of 4. Apart from this they have small sofa cum bed also in room. 2 bath tubs, one in room and one in balcony. Garden and beach view was cottage property and close to beach. They have private beach and mesmerising. The staff is too good and cooperative. Always at your service and ready to help. Free drop and pick up to patong beach.

Overall i would rate it 4/5. Rooms were good, had twinbed, 2 bath tubs, shower room, wardrobe, fridge, kettle etc. Property was huge, many choices of type of room you want. Food was good - 5/5. Spa we didn’t try, found expensive. Staff in the Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket was good, polite and smiling. My son returned happy. 2 things as why i am rating 4/5, 1. I asked to get my room changed as it was on 5th floor where we were not able to have the sea view but it was not done, staff said they will let me know but they never came back. 2. I asked for iron for my clothes one day & i was told they’ll check and send but never did. So, not big concerns but could improve.

Our family had an excellent experience at thavorn resort & spa in thailand. The sea view, beautiful landscapes, and attentive staff made our stay wonderful. The hospitality and services provided were exceptional. The resort's serene environment and top-notch amenities, including the spa and swimming pools, added to the overall enjoyment of our vacation. Their restaurants also had good food. Vegetarians can have variety of pizzas at the grill. We highly recommend thavorn resort for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in thailand. We can't wait to return for more cherished memories.

You will feel a real exotic stay with a feel of thai architecture not the same usual resorts we see now a days. The lagoon pool will just make u mesmerize even a person not knowing how to swim can enjoy the pool bath with a drink from the crocodile bar. Coming to the room we stayed in hilltop rooms and trust the view from the room will make any newly married couples go woww. Yes the only challenge is food for indians as no options i must say bluntly with kitchen very slow after order. The overall property is worth eye catching with beautiful water front.

If have a chance to go to Phuket do stay at Thavorn beach resort and Spa little away from patong beach and street but must to go place.....it has its own beauty and beach from the resort ...very big swimming pool connecting to rooms...services provided by Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket was amazing and Mr Aek provided us with jain breakfast and made sure we get everything on time...Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket also provides shuttle services to Patong beach .....Food serve as per demand was as exoected no complains on any part.

The room with direct pool access was soo cool and effortless to go in and out the pool. The whole resort was beautiful. With the diverse plants n flowers covering the resort, it obviously enhanced the beauty and serenity of the resort. Lagoon pool was the best of all. Only disadvantage is the location of the Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket from patong area. The resort is quite far from the happening place in phuket i. E. Patong. So accessibility to different places or other restaurants prove to be costly.

The property is located in some what isolated location near kamala beach. You can see patong beach across the sea from the property. The food here is awesome, with main restaurant serving all through the day. Breakfast is grand. There is a pastry shop and a pool side bar in addition to the main restaurant. Another restaurant near the beach was closed during our stay because of off-season. Pool and property is well maintained and there is always someone near for your safety at beach or in pool.

Resort is little out of the city but it's fabulous, the greenery, private beach, courteous staff etc. Only problem is vegetarian people will have very very few options in breakfast.

Amazing, loved the stay, everything was extremely professional, staff was super polite. The buffet is so so most because i’m not used to their east asian food and eating rice and noodles for breakfast. The property is gorgeous. Must visit

Fabulous stay. My wife is so happy, thavorn beach village is a complete pack of relaxation will definitely go again. But the only drawback is daily expense of taxi to reach to patong beach because resort is in kamala and patong beach is very far from the resort.

We stayed at thavorn for 2 days. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were just fine but the bathroom was good.

It has all the amenities like its private beach, pool, beach side room, spa etc etc. On your vacation if you are planning to just chill and enjoy the resort, definitely this on is for you. Rooms of all category are unique in itself. We stayed here 1 night in beach side and 4 nights in hillside, both are amazing

Resort was very good property with private beach, lovely hut shaped lavish rooms to stay only issue was with water pressure in the bathrooms

We really enjoy stay, excellent property with natural ambient & location. Its sea side property but no beach. Real beach is patong beach is near by but need to go by taxi. Have free shuttle bus from Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket. Break fast is very nice and wide verity. Food is nice. Staffs are very nice & friendly. We book pool view resort. Nice and clean rooms.

We had a really good stay at this Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket. Staff gave us complimentary upgrade for our last day to beachfront room. Lagoon pool access rooms are the highlight of this Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket. These rooms have one of the best bathrooms along with jacuzzi type bathtub. This could have been best Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket around 7-8 yrs ago but little by little its starting to lose its charm.

The resort is one of the bestPlace is full of trees and plants with lot of scenic beauty. I booked two different categories of room. One on the hill and other cottage on the beach side. They are very beautiful pvt beach. Staff is very supportive and helpful. Rooms are very big and kids also accommodate easily.

It was a very peaceful stay. No disturbance and very quiet beach side cottages.

The location was beautiful, food had options and quality. Hygiene was extraordinary. Nothing less than awesome

The resort has so many activities to do. This is an experience of its own. The staff is helpful and nice.

We were happy staying at thavorn beach village resort. Resort has three categories of room. One outside the beach called beach cottages, behind that garden rooms and hill rooms. Hill rooms are bigger with terrace and preferably for guest who needs privacy. Going up and down for hill rooms can consume extra 15 mins of your time as it is accessible only through tuk tuk or cable car which gets closed at 4 pm. Overall it was a good experience. This resort is at nakalay beach.
