Carlton Downtown

First of all, even through they call it carlton downtown- it is not located in downtown. It takes 25 aed by taxi to reach downtown. But no complaints with the location, it is located well within walking distance of metro station and museum of future with many restaurants around. The rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast spread is nice and food is tasty. I really liked the breakfast at this Carlton Downtown. Only reason for slight dissatisfaction was staff at the Carlton Downtown. We carried our heavy luggages ourselves to our room while we saw that for some guests the staff was ready with trolley for even a carry bag. That wow factor was missing from this Carlton Downtown which we usually get from premium Carlton Downtowns but guess this one was after all a budget Carlton Downtown which we booked in the price of a premium Carlton Downtown.

The suite was very good. We appreciated the space and the amenities as well as the cleanliness. It was very convenient for a family of four. It would have been nice if there were a few plates, utensils, vessels for use in the kitchen. The washing machine was another great feature. The multiple tvs and the sofas, tables and chairs in the living area were really good. There was plenty of storage and cabinet space as well. The only negative was that there was an odd smell in the kitchen, which, despite requests to housekeeping, never went away throughout our stay. All in all, it was a really terrific experience and i'd happily recommend carlton to everyone!

We stayed during valentine week in feb 2024. Booked for 6 nights with breakfast included. Just 2 mins walk to financial centre metro station. We ate lunch/dinner outside as the food and water was too expensive within Carlton Downtown. Breakfast was good everyday. Awesome location for locations, beaches and skyline views. Had a burj khalifa view from within room itself. Luxurious property. Lift system was unique for me. Service and operations of Carlton Downtown was very good. Reception and travel desk was very helpful. They will gov lot of discounts if you book with them - and we felt it later comparing with other vendors. 5/5 stay experience.

The view from the 34th floor was great, overlooking dubai skyline and the beach. Calvin, at the reception, welcomed us warmly and upgraded our 2 individuals deluxe rooms to one single 2-bedroom suite. We checked into a 2 bedroom suite on the 34th floor. The bedrooms are decent enough and the best of the views is reserved from the living room. One can get a good view of dubai skyline and the beach. The metro station (financial center) is a 2-minute walk from the Carlton Downtown and we can reach dubai mall either by walk or next stop by metro. Breakfast spread is decent enough and parathas are available for those who prefer indian dishes.

Wow what place to stay in downtown dubai, just next to metro. Very near to many tourists place ( dubai frame, future museum, sky view observatory, burjkhalifa and dubai mall. The rooms are with the best view you can ask for in dubai, i was lucky to get burjkhalifa view. The restaurant on 44th floor serves the best breakfast with beautiful views of sheikhzayed road and downtown and swimming pool on the rooftop is best place to cool down and relax and there is bar and restaurant on the rooftop. I recommend this Carlton Downtown for its quality service and best service.

Hotel at prime location near metro station at sheikh zayed road, loved staff & their helping nature, room spacious & big, cleanliness 5 star, only issue is less vegetarian options in breakfast, & no coffee machine we are vegetarians & each day there were just 2-3 options for breakfast, we would love to come again but there should be more options for vegetarians, rest everything good, special thanks to front desk staff fir helping us out in taking print outs for our tickets

It is a decent Carlton Downtown and the pictures are accurate. The rooms were clean and the service was decent. They are strict about check in time so do not expect early check in. Food is average so would suggest walking down the street to get some food or order. As this Carlton Downtown is a local Carlton Downtown chain and not part of the ritz carlton group do not expect premium service. If you’re expecting 5 star service please look for another Carlton Downtown.

The Carlton Downtown is at great location right on main sheikh zayed road next to financial center and near museum of the future. The room had washing machine, fridge, hot plate and microwave oven etc. But no utensil. They did not put any glass tumbler in room and when asked for, it took 45 minutes and 3 calls to housekeeping and room service to get it. Breakfast buffet was good. Indian section of the food needs a lot of improvement though.

The apartment was great and the view was breathtaking 😍. Apartment was huge and spacious. The Carlton Downtown is very close to financial centre metro station which makes it very convenient to travel. In all the stay was amazing. If they would add complimentary breakfast to the bookings of apartments as big as this the the deal will be perfect with the money paid.

Everything was perfect but make sure please mention for deposit bec some times any person dont have deposit then what he will do he was waste thier money for booked room? once i was at reception every costimer said we didnt know about deposit bec some persons dont have money sometimes maybe they have small budget like that whatever i hope u will think about this

It's an old property with good staff. I had 5 nights' stay here and it was pleasant, cleaning services have huge scope to improve, a day before my check out my room was not clean, and a garbage bag was in the room full of garbage. The cleaning supervisor was kind enough to give attention but not satisfied with the cleaning and housekeeping experience.

Right at the middle of Shaikh Zayad road this Carlton Downtown is located at a walking distance of 15 minutes to Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa. Rooms are very spacious though they had upgraded my room at the time of check in. There are multiple cafès & small restaurants nearby the Carlton Downtown. Metro station is 2 minutes of walking distance.

It was amazing stay. View is wonderful. Rossiana in the reception was so helpful l amazing hospitality. She did checking very fast well. Cleanness of the room is very good. I will come back soon.

Breakfast is fine but can be improved. They cleaned the room everyday. Upgraded our room to panoramic suite and the view with burj khalifa was amazing abed so lovely.

It was a pleasant stay at carlton. The location makes it the best place to stay. Food and services are really good. Good indian restaurant in house and good food)

Property located near burj khalifa. Have good indian vegetarian options in breakfast. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Though bathrooms could be bigger.

It was a wonderful and comfortable stay, but the thing I did not like was the five hundred dirham deposit What should the customer do if he does not have this money? Please change this policy and there is no need to deposit this money

We were a family of 4 adults & booked 2 single rooms, upon arrival on our request they changed our rooms to a 2 bedroom appartment, which had a great view. Rooms were big & clean. The location of this Carlton Downtown is perfect for tourist as the metro is just 1 min walk & lot of marts/cafe around the property

I have been to this Carlton Downtown more than 5 times in the last one year. This Carlton Downtown is an excellent connectivity & all is at walking distance. Rooms are good & spacious. All staff are very courteous & always help.

Location wise very good. So many restaurants and grocery stores are nearby only. Internet is having sufficient speed. Lot of varieties on breakfast. Metro station is 2 minutes walk away. Overall very good Carlton Downtown to stay and recommended to all travellers.
