We arrived late at night &the emailed door codes worked with no problem, our apartments were warm with the lamps left on inside and milk in the fridge which was a lovely gesture. Apartments were spotless clean; however one of the two apartments we booked could do with being painted as the hall and living area were grubby. Otherwise, very well equipped. Lots of supermarkets within a 5minute walk and there is a cosy pub on the same street for drinks. Overall, an excellent location, 5 minute walk from Princes Street and the airlink 100 airport bus drop off. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

I had a pleasant stay at Braid Apartments. The apartment's kitchen was well-equipped for preparing light meals, which I appreciated. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a coffee machine, as I missed having that option. Fortunately, there are plenty of coffee shops and cafes in the area, so it wasn't a major issue. The convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would consider returning.
Lovely stay at an Edinburgh Serviced Apartment
Pros: Perfect location for exploring the city. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and it is in a safe neighborhood. Tons of snacks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and water as this was a serviced apartment. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Some things that need a bit of work: (1) Both rooms I stayed in had doors that were difficult to open. Turns out that you have to pull the doorknob towards you before pushing the door open. Easy enough once you knew the trick but a little disconcerting when you couldn't get into the room after multiple tries (especially since there is not always someone on-site to assist you). Probably worth adding a note addressing this issue to the check in instructions. (2) I wanted a room with a washer/dryer which this had but unfortunately it was not easy to figure out how to turn on the dryer function so I ultimately left with a suitcase full of wet clothes. Adding a label to the machine would make it easier to use (especially for international travellers).

Great communication and lovely staff. We made the mistake of booking the cheaper room. It had a very small double bed (not great for those who like a Queen). The room was on the ground floor and you could hear cars/trucks on the cobbles and everyone walking past the windows all night long - as there were bars near by there was a lot of noise from the street. We did love the lovely live music coming in our window from a bar next door on Tuesday and Wednesday night until 9pm. Otherwise the room was lovely with a beautiful welcome box of items to eat that was appreciated. I would stay again but in a more expensive room that was away from the road front.
natalia.familyAug 12, 2024 Omg! This place was soo dirty, it looked like someone walked on the walls. No change of the room was offered as receptionist only had 30 minutes before they had to go home. We checked in at 6:30 and by 7pm we were out to a different place. As the city was pretty sold out that weekend, Expedia was not able to help us either. Terrible smelly place that claims to be “Deluxe Apartment, 1 Bedroom, Non Smoking, Kitchen” nothing Deluxe about it.
Kitchen with burned burners and crumbs all over it just killed me!

A great place to rest between biking Holidays
Fabio the front reception was very kind and helpful. The apt was just what we needed after a bike and barge holiday. Walking distance to a Sunday mkt to get some prepared fresh food, comfortable bed and living quarters.
Just back from a lovely stay in these apartments, the location is perfect, right in the centre of Edinburgh but no noise. Walkable to pretty much all of the city, very helpful staff in reception. Lovely clean apartment with a nice comfy bed and tea/coffee facilities. Thanks
Excellent location, excellent facilities and excellent staff especially magna. Close to facilities and lots of restaurants, pubs . The apartment was quiet at night and very cosy.
Excellent location, helpful staff, and well-furnished. We spent four nights here and would opt to stay again if we ever return to Edinburgh.
