Hotel Khamsum

The Hotel Khamsum is okay. The best part of the Hotel Khamsum helpful and friendly staff. They are all willing to help. Room I had for a River facing room. The view is good. Location on the main street. Room cleanliness yes, the room was clean. No complains. Facilities they provide soap. Other amenities like dental kits etc, can be made available on request. There are no use and throw slippers. They give actual flip flops but they were too small for my size. Soap and lotion is there in dispensers, which I didn't use. The kettle has a different plug point, Chinese one I think. There was just one pin on the other Side of the room where it would fit. Quite a hassle. There was a note in the room which said that they have power backup for light but not for geysers or heaters. Since I went in January, I was worried. Thankfully, there were no power cuts, so did not have issues in the morning for hot water. However, I had to sleep with a lot of clothes as I felt cold in their bedding. I don't think that this should be an issue if you visit in summers. The spray jet for toilet is badly placed and had great difficulty in using it. Not cool. Restaurant very bad. The rice was not properly cooked. Dal, vegetables, everything had chunks of ginger. I didn't like the breakfast either. Yes, the staff is very good and willing to help. But that didn't always translate into good help.

We stayed in the Khamsum inn for 3 days and we had an amazing stay. The Hotel is located in the Paro Town and everything is easily accessible from the Hotel. Rooms We booked a standard room which is good for 2 adults. The rooms are amazing with a good bed which easily accommodated 3 people. The rooms are clean with wooden floor and storage's. There are ample plug points for charging. Service The service here is impeccable and the front desk is always responsive. I can say they are one of the most customer-friendly Hotel Khamsums in Bangalore. 5 star for the service. Food The food here is very nice compared to other Hotel Khamsums we tried in Paro. In general, the food is expensive in Bhutan as they import all the cereals, pulses from India. The quality, quantity, and taste are good for the price. Conclusion we had an amazing 3 day stay here. We highly recommend Khamsum inn to people who want to stay in Paro.

Very enjoyable, Hotel Khamsum staff were extremely courteous, helpful. Gokul, who was one of them was very helpful and friendly, he made our stay very warm, he also helped us with sight seeing. Food in the Hotel Khamsum is extremely expensive, that is the only negative point other than the windows.
Although, the room was well maintained. But it didn't have double window glass, this allowed very cold wind at 5 degree census. To filter in the room, rendering the curtain and the room heater feeble. Paro is extremely cold and in winter seasons it is more so, in these kind of places single glass pane window is inadequate.

This Hotel Khamsum is on one of the ends of the main street in Paro. Stayed twice in this place during my visit. The front rooms have the river view and the back rooms have view of paddy fields and the hills. The rooms are maintained very well. Restaurant serves only vegetarian food but that is not a problems because other restaurants are nearby. It is walkable distance from the taxi stand. If you are looking to stay in the main Paro town, this is a very good option.

Very nice Hotel and located in the main Road of Paro Town. Closeby to market areas and taxi stand. The Hotel has truly courteous and excellent staffs. They make you feel as a real guest in their place. The Hotel manager Ms Usmita Pradhan, herself is an excellent manager, and truly runs the establishment professionally. We liked her very much for her friendly approach and honest guidance on travel/site visits/shopping related advices. Hotel rooms are nice with good amenities. It has also lift service. Will certain recommend for a stay.

Indeed a much unexpected experience! We were in for a surprise with such wonderful hosting by the staff. Food to stay to the info they provide you with, everything was great. This place made me write a review just by their excellent gestures! Must stay place.

Location of the Hotel Khamsum is very good. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Food was good, but quiet expensive. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The windows were not good enough to ward off cold wind, only single glass pane was there, so although room heater worked rooms were cold. Other than this, staff were extremely good with good prompt service. Staff was really good, he also helped us with sight seeing. Over all a pleasant stay.

Location is right in the main road, close to the market and monastery. Food menu can be improved for the price range. Namgey artisinal brewery is a must try. Service was at its best.
The room was neat and well maintained. The staff are lovely, special thanks to Ms. Ushmita, for being a lovely host. Food was good, but the menu is very limited in buffet breakfast as well for dinner. The extra bed was very hard.

I rate this Hotel highly in the quality of service they offered on late night arrival. They had kept the dinner ready and also agreed to make it complementary as I had lost one day in transit. The bf variety was limited but with good quality. Very friendly front desk and also the manager. Only, when you book it ask them to keep the heater on before arrival.

Me and my husband stayed in this Hotel Khamsum on 29th Feb and 1st March while in Paro. We had a lovely stay there. Excellent rooms, location and the best staff to make your day even better. Their breakfast (Indian) was healthy and tasty. We were upgraded to a deluxe room voluntarily. Would recommend this Hotel Khamsum to all the travellers of Paro.

We stayed 3 nights in this Hotel in standard room with balcony (room number 403) the good things are. We got river view. Food is on time, hot, delicious and tasty. Recommend to taste local menu. Room service is the best. All equipment are fully working only 1 bad thing is food is little bit high. Rs 10 higher of each menu, Much recommend for all.

Hotel Khamsum is a small Hotel Khamsum located very close to the market and taxi stand. Staff is very good. Rooms are also small but very comfortable.

Located in the heart of Paro. Walking distance from bridge, local market, restaurants, taxi stand, Rinpung Dzong. Extremely helpful and warm welcoming staffs of the Hotel Khamsum. Rooms are neat and clean and well furnished. Plenty of facilities like buffet breakfast, library, blower etc.

Pleasant staff, excellent food, rooms are very clean and beautiful, one can borrow sticks for tiger's nest hiking from Hotel Khamsum.

The rooms were all with wooden panel, the staff were the best, very welcoming and cordial. You get heater and even heated bed as well as a default option. It's very much in middle of the town so all shops are close by, only a word of caution. It only has a vegetarian restaurant.

Courteous and helpful staff, prompt service, offered choice of rooms to select from, complimentary welcome tea/juice, buffet breakfast, close to the market, great view from room, in- Hotel Khamsum purchases, card payment option, wooden work in rooms, overall great experience, would recommend to everyone.

We had a pleasant stay at Khamsum apart from a small incident which happened, it has been taken care by the manager and I hope in future they continue to deliver the best of their services.

Good location and view from balcony is very nice. They serve only veg food with good taste. Staff good. Services are fast and smooth.
