Fantastic location, very comfortable beautiful rooms and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast great. There are stairs to get to the room but the location is terrific for access during the day and night
This property was everything we had hoped for! Immaculate, safe, quiet and the most charming hosts. We were served breakfast every morning and after returning from a day trip, there were flowers for our anniversary in the room. We can’t say enough good things about this property! The perfect location!!
james a.partnerOct 12, 2024 Spent 6 nights at Casa Thiele and enjoyed it very much. Antonio and Daniel were so nice. The breakfast was very tasty and loved their espresso. Can’t beat this location as it’s close to everything. Some of our favorite spots were Bar Uffizi for 2.00 cappuccino, Forno Sartoni old style bakery, Cernacchio had amazing lasagna, I Guelfi Tuscany for the amazing “Bomba” sandwich, La Dolce Vita Firenze for lasagna and get the side of roasted vegetables, and our favorite homemade pasta was found at II Ricettario.
It was hard to find. Instructions should say to look for the big green door between the sunglasses and watch shops. Breakfast was great. Need to be able to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. No lift!

My recommendation to anyone driving to the hotel would be to route yourself to a 24hr parking garage nearby then walking to the hotel. There are also no hotel signs so when you get to the address look for the large green doors to get buzzed up 😊
Great location, kind staff. Entrance is hard to find, search for a Green door with the number 2.
alexis.familySep 15, 2024 The best part about Casa Thiele alla Signoria is Antonio and Daniele. They are just amazing. To start the day with Antonio at the breakfast table gave us a lot of joy and smiles.
The rooms were great and very quiet, even though the location of Casa Thiele is in the heart of Firenze. Speaking of location, we were so happy to see that we’re within walking distance from everything Firenze has to offer. We’re literally a couple of minutes from il Duomo.
The only thing to be wary of is the absence of elevators. My dad struggled a bit going up every time, so make sure to keep that in mind while booking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent with easy proximity to most sites. The TV was a bit difficult to use with TV channels changing almost daily to add more German channels. The one English language channel disappeared after day two. Good thing we weren’t there to watch TV but more English channels would have improved our stay.

Helpful staff, Great Room, Perfect Location
Daniel communicated well with us prior to our arrival & gave us confidence that the check-in would go smoothly. Yes, it was a climb to the room, but Antonio helped us with bags and during our entire stay, he was a perfect host! His kind, friendly welcome and advice were so helpful.
The room was so cool and the hotel location couldn't have been better. We were just around the corner from the Piazza, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio bridge. Shopping, cafes, the Duomo were an easy walk.

Casa Thiele is near the Domo, leather market tons of shops and restaurants. The room was exquisite and luxurious. If you’re lucky Antonio the chef not only provides a feast of a breakfast, he is also a really nice person.
Staff was friendly and allowed us to drop our baggage off while still preparing the room. There are about 3 flights of stairs to ascend, however don’t let that deter you. The room was very clean and a comfortable size. The breakfast was amazing and offered a little bit of everything, and would accommodate for a “traditional American breakfast.”

The gentleman running the place did anything you asked of him. There were 4 in our party and we really enjoyed his company. Our room was a little on the small side but we made it work. Rooms cleaned every day but towels swapped out every 3 days. It is an AirB&B so was to be expected. Only down side was no ice available. Free breakfast was provided and was plenty efficient. Service was spectacular. Emails were promptly responded to
This is not a hotel per se, it is an apartment and it exceeds in EVERY WAY! We were greeted early and helped with our baggage to the 3rd floor, no lift available but it didn't matter. Daniel and Antonio were most helpful and assisted with anything we needed. FYI, there is no laundry service available but that didn't matter, just a bit of info for others. This place is an absolute gem! In the heart of the city, close to restaurants, shipping and of course Gelato! You can not go wrong here. Highly recommend. Fabulous! Thank you Daniel and Antonio! You made our stay fantastic. Memory fire a lifetime for sure! Grazie Millie!!!
belinda.familyMay 06, 2024 Beautiful, clean accommodation in the heart of Florence. Walking distance to train and all tourist attractions. €30 to Florence airport by taxi. Daniel and Antonio were a fantastic help with all of our concerns. Breakfast was superb! Thank you! This property is not suitable for all, due to 4 flights of stairs equaling 51 steps. If you can manage steps, it is well worth the exercise.
