AVOID AT ALL COST Worst experience ever n God knows I ain’t telling no lies

So we arrived in the apartment, looked nasty when I say nasty. Kitchen dirty, bedsheets full of hair, bathroom, it’s an eyesore. Floors were sticky everywhere and I was so scared for my 1 year old baby who wants to roll on every floor😢. I complained to the owner who brought new sheets and a new kitchen basket which was smelling. Also no mob for the floor in the bathroom so makes it very slippery if care is not taken. Anyway fast forward, I requested the room to be cleaned and they agreed to clean the next day and when we went out they did and trust me complaining was worth it because they cleaned very well however they stole our food we had put in so much energy to cook 30 minutes before we went out so we could eat when we arrive. They ate our sauce and everything we had cooked! We came back super hungry and had to starve that night plus there is no shop near the apartment so there’s no means to buy any foodstuff whatsoever. I asked the owner about it and all he did was get mad and later said the people who cleaned are poor people (how does that justify the fact that they stole our food) I had to keep messaging him to provide our food because we were super tired and hungry. He kept exchanging words with me and saying bad things trying to find excuses instead of even trying to apologize. I insisted which made him bring 3 pieces of tomatoes and onion and garlic and chili and some tiny chicken breast about the size of my baby’s palm which was all defrosted and smelly I threw them away because I couldn’t risk my family eating that and he had the guts to tell me I needed to say thank you because he brought us food. I requested the driver to take us to the mall to shop for a whole new set of foodstuff which we had just bought the previous night, imagine how expensive things are I decided to let go. WORST part of our stay was that we had insects from the washroom flying around the room the whole time and we stayed 5 days, heartbreaking for me because of my baby. There is some kind of pit on the washroom floor which is super nasty and these insects came out of that. I swear it’s disgusting. We really suffered during our stay with the smell coming from that pit, I had to keep pouring disinfectant into that pit as a remedy. By the way we went a whole afternoon till next day without wifi and I had to call him on roaming to fix the issue. On the last day the owner decided to come and inspect the apartment and accused us of scraping their table on the balcony wanting to find a way to charge us extra. We never even used that table so we had to be strict and insist. This man came into the kitchen and imagine at 8am when we had made breakfast he had the guts to touch our cooked food. That disgust and pissed me off. We had toasted bread and egg in a plate on the kitchen counter and he touched our food and moved it to another part of the kitchen saying we needed to finish it. I mean how disgusting is this. We confronted him and told him how disgusting it was and he had no right! Instead of apologizing he kept screaming and asking us to leave. I told him we had our flight early that’s why we had to leave at that time otherwise our checkout time was not even 8am for Allah’s sake. Even shouting at my mum who is 70years old and very rude when my mum tried to talk. This is by far the worst experience ever and we definitely have an impression not only about him but about his country; he is a disgrace to his country as a whole. Well this is our personal experience but if you want insects from the toilet pit to ruin your sleep and overall indoor time then go ahead. The area is quiet but super far from the main town and dogs bark every second of the day. You can’t even sleep peacefully as it’s a very quiet area so it’s really irritating and bothersome. Airport is near that’s the only good thing.
