I had a great experience at aloft langkawi pentai tengah. It is located at peak location which is near to cenang beach. Also there is a restaurant named indian kitchen which is at 1 km away from this hotel and is great for those who want indian food. Staff is also cooperative & friendly. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Had a comfortable stay, staff is helpful. Encountered only one issue there is that limited no vegetarian options. Although they allow outside food.

Property is well located - but being a muslim country i found 2 mistakes in bathroom- one toilet is faced towards qibla and health faucet of commode should be on right side not on left. Food taste is malaysian. Rooms are clean and balconies are facing the beach. Lobby is not air conditioned.

Perfect location, lovely hospitality. All service and amenities were upto mark. Had a wonderful time. Located at 5 mins walk from the beach will all facilities makes it an excellent option to stay in langkawi. All must visit places are nearby to property. Stayed with my 3 year old and had absolutely no issues at all. The courteous staff is cherry on the cake.

Great breakfast; professional staff; dont opt for balcony instead go for a bigger room; taxi is must for roaming around (nothing at walkable distance)

We travel-led with our 1. 3 years son. It was very kid friendly hotel, good playroom and good breakfast spread with many food options. However, very limited fruits - like banana was not available even on request. Unfortunately my son loves banana and refused to eat otherwise. We asked if we can pack his breakfast to offer him later, same was not allowed. However one server helped by giving us complimentary food to our room for our son. No fruit or vegetables shops near by in 5 kms radius. U need to have bike to travel around. Overall a good hotel

Beautiful sea facing views, great location close to all the good spots of the island, great pool and other facilities, good breakfast, excellent staff. All in all, a very good experience

Hotel is located in plantains tengah beach. Beach is walkable from the hotel. They also provide free buggy service to beach. Very calm and clean beach. Water sports activities are available there. Restaurant is good. For breakfast they serve continental food. Roti available. Rooms are well maintained. Staff are polite

Aloft is a beautiful property and at good location opposite to private beach. Breakfast spread is great and lunch/dinner too is worth every penny. Front desk staff attitude is bad but after escalation the manager helped in smooth checkin as his junior didn't agree to cost. Also front desk were rude to fellow customers who had requested for help in fast checkout as they had to catch flight. No water was offered to guests but only after my repeated requests did they serve some drink (not water again. Room ac was not functioning and the technicians were unable to resolve the issues. No proactive action was taken to change the room but after repeated requests only did we get another rooms. For my parents it was only on the last day when we got another room. Water not served in day of checkout but after escalation we received few bottles

The stay was average. The hotel lobby looked like a lodge. It wasn't clean and open with insects and lizards. However, rooms inside were nice and comfortable as per expectation as well as the swimming pool. The gym is nice and open 24 hours. The hotel staff doesn't understand much of english. Particularly the restaurant staff. They don't respect the dietary preferences, we were fed with items which had eggs even though we had asked for the ones without it. Staff doesn't understand if something has beef or not. Not at all recommended for vegetarians/gluten/vegan/lactose intolerant people as the staff doesn't speak english or dont answer to your queries or don't find it necessary to address your queries. Again i'm not sure if it is a langkawi thing and other properties are similar or not. I'm rating on an independent basis without comparing it with other properties in langkawi.
