Doubletree is situated in beautiful location but it is a little remote in terms of local attractions. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. Ours had a partial view of the sea. The amenities are what you would expect from any 5 star hotel and the staff is polite and helpful. The food wasn’t that great (not bad but not amazing) but there are enough local restaurants that you can go to or order using grab. There’s a bus stop right outside which is an alternative option to taking cabs. We found it handy to come back to the hotel specially when it got late.

It’s was a good stay. I loved the shampoo and conditioner especially. The balcony and weather was also a favorite experience. The staff were especially helpful when my phone didn’t connect well to the reception landline. The view and beach access were something i wish i couldve tied. I wish i could’ve stayed longer than a night.

Friendly behavior of staff and prompt service makes our stay great. Only one thing, vegetarian option are limited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at double tree resort. Most recommended. Front desk people were very friendly. The pool and kids play area was very clean and our family enjoyed the stay at double tree resort.

It was an amazing experience during our stay at double tree hilton, penang. The staff were really friendly & they had offered us early complemtary checkin. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who is willing to come penang.

Cool resort with specious & clean rooms

We liked this resort very much in spite of being little far from city. Cookies given at the time of check in was amazing experience. The most surprising was the breakfast there are four counters indian kitchen, malaysian kichen, chinies kitchen & world kitchen. Good & clean swimming pool. Only the drawback that this does not have private beach or adjacent to beach & market & city is far so we depends on grab but manageable. Lobby is fantabulous

Review: 5 - excellent room great, location awesome, most staff very friendly, minus 0. 3 point for lack of vegetarian menu. Minus 0. 2 point for one staff who received us. He wasn't courteous, he kept saying i have not taken deposit from you, as if he did a favor, whereas i had already paid the entire amount for 2 nights at the time of booking.

Best place to stay in penang. Value for money and breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Got oriental, indian corner as well to get roti canai, idli, rasam etc.

Double tree hilt-on is following highest safety measures. The have incorporated certain stringent processes and are adhering by the same so that all the guests can follow standard operating procedures with ease.

The Hotel is very well located if peace is a priority (Sea right across the Road). Distance wise it is quite a ride from the City center but the Hotel offers a pick up facility and it is also very easily reachable through cab service (we opted for grab). They also provided a free drop off and pick up when we went for site seeing.

Confortable stay, but not for tourists planning to visit local spots

The hotel is situated in an isolation. There are no local spots nearby and you can't walk to any places around. You need to take taxi to go anywhere. The breakfast spread is OK and nothing much to boast about. Each and everything is chargeable, from room service charge to every possible ask. Not my likable Hilton property.

The rooms are fair, large and clean essentially but the tariff is really high for what is delivered. Good service, overall a good business Hotel. Do not visit if you are going on a holiday.

Worst hotel in Hilton group, food is very bad taste and quality, worst management and maintenance, I book presidential suite room but I don't get service for even one star categories also. India please avoid this hotel, because you won't expect respects from this hotel.

Penang trip

Hotel room was pretty bad. The stay was uncomfortable. The location was alright. But they don't have their own access to the Beach so remember that. Service while polite was extremely inefficient and took a lot of time. Everything else was extremely delayed, labored and the service staff were clueless.
Was a terrible stay. While the manager was helpful By the end, it was a nightmarish two days. Changed room thrice. First one tv was not working. Second one the light went off, the TV didn't work. Rooms were very bare and basic. Would advise you to not stay here.

Enjoyed the stay for two nights. Very courteous staff. And excellent service. Very lavish buffet range for breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Kids zone is a great thought from HDT. Kudos. Swift check in and check out. Free car parking is big plus indeed.
