The hotel is right in front of the beach called beach and the view is very good for the ones which have balcony. The food is decent especially if you want to eat indian food. The breakfast buffet also has good options. Only thing is that there is no swimming facility in the kaani grand sea view if you want to visit and take pictures you can go to the property beside the hotel which is kaani palm but that too only for pictures. There’s a free movie under the stars done on the tuesdays and thursdays you can check with the receptionist for that. Also the activities and the resort options are good with kaani management.

Best place to stay. Splendid view of the bikini beach from the balcony. Special attention is paid as far as cleanliness is concerned. Thankful to mr ahmed, the tiger, a nice and thorough gentleman, always there to help and guide you. Even helped us beyond his hospitality duty to arrange a personal snorkeling instructor mr sami, that too at a very nominal cost. Everything about this hotel is good. But i missed freshfruits in the breakfast.

the location was excellent. staff was courteous. facilities were clean. everything was perfect, except: 1. breakfast was disappointing. 2. ⁠hotel does not accept local currency.

They were extremely impolite and rude with us, they directly refused to drop us at the harbour and also denied for extra towels, the fat guy at the counter was aggressive and refused to take final payment and said he will not take the payment unless he gets the room checked, horrible experience

Few tips for new travelers 1. Maffusi is a budget island but very costly food at-least $10 per person per meal. Budget option is bengali mess. 2. Travel-ling is cheaper if you take govt ferry which starts 3. 30pm from male city harbor and charges $2, return at 7. 30 am from mafusi to male city. 3. Non swimmers and first time snorkelers, take individual snorkeling course at baani sports(ibragim) at $10 before proceeding to snorkeling day trips 4. Alchohol not available in the island 5. Those want nice sea view nice near by beach best options are kani grand sea view kani beach view with infinity pool arena sea view, triton sea view with decent buffet breakfast 6. Night dinner buffet you get for $12 at sunrise beach restaurant near park 7. Hotels provide half liter water per day. 5liter can costs mvr 20 you can change inr to mvr at malecity exchanges for 5inr=1mvr kani grand is a nice 4star hotel with decent clean big rooms with very friendly staff( specifically mr. Kadir)and indian but costly restaurant and very good seaview

Fantastic hotel, awesome location, right on bikini beach! spacious rooms, neat and clean overlooking the blue ocean. Wonderful view to wake up to, in the morning. They have an indian restaurant in house and multiple options for excursions. Location is impressive with beautiful lights, places to go to, events in the vicinity.

Very poor services and not so welcoming. Nobody at the hotel was even interested to listen or reply respectfully. The room services done was also so poor and we had to literally call people again to do the cleaning. Their property was not kept clean and mosquitoes everywhere in the bathrooms and in room. Their ac’s were not working properly and no fan as a backup. I took a round to other hotels and the ambiance was completely different even the small hotels and the people were so welcoming. It felt that i wasted my money. I am very disappointed for having such a wasted property
