It has an award-winning spa with as many as 20 treatment rooms as well as hydrotherapy pools, steam rooms and saunas.Enjoy signature therapies, yoga and guided meditation sessions. Sign up for exclusive picnics on deserted sandbanks/islands. Swim in the ocean waters, try snorkelling or deep dive to the ocean bed to explore the underseas.Go on nature walks and later relax with a swim in the infinity pool. Try your hand in creating new things from palm leaves, shells and wood with the crafts classes.There are pool tables, board games, karaoke lounge and a tennis court too for recreation. For the little ones, there is a kids' club and babysitting service.Other facilities include a fitness centre, 24-hour front desk, contactless check-in/checkout and an infirmary. Twice-daily housekeeping, laundry, concierge and currency exchange services are also available.Hindi and English-speaking staff are available for assistance.

For dining, there are 15 eateries including an Indian restaurant Taste of India. Besides these, the resort offers 24-hour room service, barbecue facilities and halal food.

How to Reach the Property

The resort is located in a private island on Noonu Atoll.

The property offers seaplane transfers from Male International Airport. It is a 50-minute flight and costs USD 515 per adult, USD 315 per child (2 to 11 years) , and is free for infants (up to 1 years) .The costs are for roundtrip/return transfer and inclusive of taxes.Seaplane transfers are available only from 0900 to 1530 hours. Guests arriving after 1500 hours will need to stay overnight in Male.For flights that depart from Male before 0900, guests will have to take the transfer one day prior and stay overnight in Male.All overnight stays in Male with be at the guest's own expense. Transfers are mandatory and guests have to share details of arrival and departure flights at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Payment has to be done directly at the property. The property will arrange for the transfer and share details such as pick-up point, kiosk at the airport etc.

The best thing about this place is the array of food options it offers. Being vegetarians, good food options was our primary selection criteria and Sun Siyam resort did not disappoint at that. The overall hospitality of the staff was much appreciated by them, with ease of movement and personalized attention. Just two feedback- their site mentioned anniversary benefit for couples celebrating their anniversary on the stay. However, when I reached them out for arrangements, I was told it's only applicable for min stay of 3 days- which was mentioned on the site but for honeymoon benefit and not for anniversary benefit. (2) It will be good if the resort can provide full details of available activities at the property. My parents were told there is a diving activity at the resort but they did not know that it cannot be done if you are to take a flight in 24 hours. Had they been told that, they could probably do it on day 1 of their stay but they missed a chance to do that because of less complete information. Understandable that this may be a universal guideline on diving but not everyone may know.

From day one till the time we checked out all the staff were so courteous warm polite and always smiling and ready to help we had a very good time and will definitely come back again
