This is not a 4 star hotel. The cleanliness, maintainence and bathrooms are not as per a 4 star standard hotel. Will not recommend for family stay.

It was great stay at hotel royal, right from the check in until check out. Smooth wifi, services and good breakfast, maybe can add one or 2 indian dishes. Quiet location, less disturbance and close to novena mart to get to other places. Cleanliness and service i would give a 5 star.

Best part is the space & amenities of the hotel, you will find a lot of space to move in your room. Basic facilities like wardrobe, iron, paraphernalia & water dispensar for hot/cold water 24x7 avaialble in common area. Absolutely yes for a family !

Hotel royal (sg clean ) is clean, hygienic, specious location is very good. Singapore, being so small, most of the places are super connected with bus and metro service is below average
people manning restaurant, reception, front office are not bothered about customers. Any thing asked for takes a long long time we were already staying in the hotel and we extended our stay by one day. All through our our stay, we realised we had quite a no of occasion of delayed/below average service delivery. Some how, the attitude to service a customer is missing. . Pl note. Every thing happens. But it happens with delay. Unsmiling people. . Looks as if they are sad and burdened

Hotel royal feels like a luxury hotel on budget. The room we were given was spacious and the hotel is also located at a prime spot near novena mrt. The hotel staff were also very accommodating and nice. Recommended for family stays!

We were here for 8 nights. The location of the hotel is excellent. It has its own bus stop and everything (including all major attractions) is just 10-20 mins away from here. There are 2 metro mart stations near hotel. Novena at 600 mtrs & newton @ 900 mtrs walking distance. Swimming pool area is neat and clean and its a large pool. Didn't take any breakfast so cannot comment on that. Wi-fi was slow but satisfactory. Rooms are pretty large and beds are comfortable. Hotel staff is amicable & room cleaning is everyday. Very smooth check-in and check-out. Would love to stay again.

After reading negative reviews, i was hesitatating booking this hotel but i have found staff was very prompt and excellent, room size and check in process was too quick. Water dispensar, microwave, washing machine is at 4th floor pantry to access. I was booking similar family room in more than double price but thanks god i saved lot of money by booking this hotel. People should look at the cost they are spending before posting negative reviews. I agreed few improvement areas were there which i highlighted in their feedback form. I didnt food in hotel. United square mall and royal square mall are at corner. I enhoyed breakfast at starbucks nearby in $30 for 2 children and 2 parents. Burger king's in united square mall was great specially plant based burger. Overall we are v happy and would definitely stay in this hotel.
