Granbell Hotel Colombo

Excellent > i can't express how beautiful the view from my ocean room was. Scenic and felt divine. The view has an infinite ocean view along with a road and a railway track beside it. The infinity pool is breathtaking. It indeed is infinity pool as you actually feel that the ocean is an extended part of the pool. Infinite in it's true sense. Don't miss the sunset dive in the pool and the evening lights on the roof top. The rooms are clean and the interior is minimal and classy. Not so good > the room service is not great especially on busy days. Check-in queue is long and room service is not that great. I was surprised to know they don't add bill to the room and hence you have to carry card / cash every time you buy drinks or food. Tip > please book the ocean view rooms only. It is worth the extra cost. You won't depend. Don't miss the sunset dive in the pool on top floor. I genuinely felt bad for people who book expensive Granbell Hotel Colombo brands in the vicinity and not get the view that this Granbell Hotel Colombo has to offer. This is a gem, wish i could visit the place again

Stayed for 2 days. Though mentioned it as a sea view room, it was a partial sea view room. the rooms are well kept and the bathroom is also well maintained. Has a bath tub and learn to use the electronic bidet. Breakfast is a big let down with not much choice. They need to include sri lankan dishes. The best part is the rooftop bar on the 27th floor. Good ambience and as the stay was on a friday they have live music. Not sure about saturday and sundays. It's bang opposite to the kollupitiya railway station and within walking distance of gale e face overall a pleasant stay.

I came for some business work, solo traveller. Got a sea facing room on the 24th floor. Surreal view of the Indian ocean. Room is good enough for two but family will need to take a larger room. Facilities within their room excellent, although lighting a bit on the lower side in the night. Novel Japanese toilet 🤣. Breakfast was Ok and you should go by 8am else it gets really crowded. Minori restaurant on top floor serves authentic Japanese food. All business offices are close by. Excellent visit especially if you are on a business trip.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Granbell Hotel Colombo. Everything about the Granbell Hotel Colombo was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

It's a phenomenal Granbell Hotel Colombo, situated at the right place providing great views of the sea from the rooms. One of the best rooms, i had so far ! very well maintained with latest furnishing and would please and pampers. The roof top pool and the view is the best in class and a very good value for money. They do have a sumptuous breakfast buffet that is great and has lot of variety! all in all a great place for family and couples.

Property location is excellent. Rooms are also good with roof top infinity pool and bar. Only dissatisfaction is the service. Probably they are running with less numbers of staffs in front desk and house keeping. It's takes them 1 hr 15 mins to give our luggage to rooms that also repeatedly calling front office. Front office staffs are not that responsive and eager to help and mostly without smile. Foods are average.

The Granbell Hotel Colombo is absolutely gorgeous. They also offered to keep our luggages prior check-in time. Staff was so friendly. Apart from that, the ocean view room was literally breathtaking! we loved every single minute of our stay. Wont think twice to book again once we’re back in sri lanka! the pool area is also a highlight of our stay and the roof top bar had a nice ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!

An awesome place to stay. This Granbell Hotel Colombo has all the facilities, from the best rooms with a sea view to an infinity pool. Spa, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and so much more. The japanese food is amazing and the Granbell Hotel Colombo is located in a central place with the market accessible at walking distance. We stayed here for 2 nights and came back on our return to stay for one more night. 100/100

Gran-bell Granbell Hotel Colombo was an amazing experience. The location, the view from the Granbell Hotel Colombo and the amenities in the Granbell Hotel Colombo were out of my expectations. The 27th floor was a dreamy floor with the rooftop jacuzzi, the infinity pool and the bar on it. Breakfast was also amazing with a lot of options. The all thanks to mm t for giving it in such an affordable price.

Wonderfully located with stunning ocean views and close to places of interest this was a stellar choice. The rooms very modern in terms of amenities including a fantastic japanese style commode. The common areas had some interesting old world artifacts like door portals etc the infinity roof pool and the bar is a experience not to be missed. Overall a incredible experience that i would repeat.

The sea view from the rooms is absolutely stunning ! their rooftop bar and swimming pool overlooking the city is also amazing. Staff is very good and helpful. Rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. Food variety is also very good. Restaurant also overlooks the ocean. They even have a good gym and spa, which we would like to explore next time. Would definitely want to stay longer next time.

The Granbell Hotel Colombo was fab. Good hygiene, friendly staff and above perfect sea facing location. The taxes on food are too high.

Very good location, clean rooms but small in size (might be difficult to fit in 2 adults and 2 kids) , good gym n spa area, breakfast is good but not very elaborate ….. overall a good experience considering the pricing coz for this price you can’t expect the hospitality of Taj or Shangrila.

Its a great Granbell Hotel Colombo, with phenomenal sea view rooms, latest furnishings and sumptuous food. You shouldn't miss the roof top pooool, one of its kind and we had a memorable stay

Stay was excellent. We stayed in the 22nd floor sea view deluxe room. Hospitality was very good. People should never miss their infinity pool. Breakfast could have been better

Great sea view and the infinity pool. Convenient location. A railway station 100 meters away. Definitely recommend for 2 nights.

In room dining is slow, easily available autos outside Granbell Hotel Colombo. No nearby small shops. Beautiful view from rooftop, infinity pool

All the facilities were good as well as the location of the beach side but they need to do the work on the service after the customer request on reception because they are taking a lot of time.

The staff at the Granbell Hotel Colombo is not as courteous and helpful as we found across other cities and Granbell Hotel Colombos in the country. The rooftop has a break taking view and despite the hospitality not being great, i will visit again with family to enjoy that 1 in a million view of the ocean.

It was a great stay. Hotel was very aesthetic, comfortable and the view was just amazing.
