A wonderful resort up the hill with a beautiful view from the balcony. The food is very bad in case you opt for alacarte. A good experience to go up the hill through a spiral drive. Pl carry your dinner with you in case you don't wanna have buffet as you will be disappointed with alacarte dinner

Amaya hills kandy is a good property with humble staffs and ambience are of international standard. Only issue with vegetarian foods as we faced issues with veg options. Otherwise good hotel

The entrance and common areas are definitely 5-star quality, but the rooms fall short of expectations. The washroom, in particular, only has a bathtub with no separate shower area, so you’re forced to bathe in the tub, which feels cramped. The lid of the toilet was loose, falling back repeatedly, and there was a clog in the water, though housekeeping responded promptly and resolved it. While the public spaces give a 5-star impression, the accommodations themselves don’t live up to that standard, and the property seems a bit dated. The reception also needs improvement, as you often have to follow up with them, and their standard response is to ask you to take a seat.

I stayed there for 2 days. It was fantastic stay. Hotel location was beautiful. Food was great and all the staffs were very courteous and attentive to our queries.

It was a very good and calm stay. We being vegetarian had limited food options but they gave few things, done for us for dinner. Very nice staff to interact. Prince at reception was very friendly and tried to provide all info. Keep it up.

Stayed for 2 days. Mostly Sri Lankan food had few vegetarian options. Very far from the City center.
The room and the bathroom were small and the utilities in the bathroom were not maintained. The shower was rusted and broken. I don't wish to go back to the property.

Most humiliating experience. Had booked Superior room with garden view. Check in took 3 hours because they could not locate our reservation. So after a long day we were made to wait in the lobby and one of the staff had the gall to say you had better wait since you have a room at a discounted rate. Finally the room they gave us was a single room which was possibly room meant for the guide or staff member. Room had no fridge, safe deposit box and no window or balcony. I have been cheated.

There is no WiFi in the room. The WiFi is available only in the lobby and that too isn't very fast. The stay was pleasant but not much options for food for pure vegetarian people. The TV had just 2 English channels star movies and HBO. Rest all were either news or local channels.

Phenomenal location. Facilities are all of superior grade. The constant flow of music in the spaces was very soothing and just what you need after a long day sightseeing. Spa facilities can be uplifted a little and ambiance should be more pleasant than sleepy. Reception staff were very cheerful.

Checking experience was lousy, front office people were unable to find my reservation, in spite of couple booking - they have given 2 separate beds, when asked for king bed, they demanded for extra money. Room as OK but the toilet was very tiny. Overall experience was horrifying, food bill was very high and not really worth. I do not suggest anybody this hotel.
