ingrid.partnerOct 21, 2022 Charming hosts, beautiful castle, spacious and tastefully decorated room and bathroom. Nice grounds and surrounding countryside. It was also a totally different experience: no locks even on the front door, there is a pool table, you can sit in the lounge or library, the hosts even have a wide selection of whisky downstairs for guests to enjoy. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The drive to the castle is not for the faint hearted though, especially at night and you have to go out for dinner as there is no restaurant.

Glengorm Castle was simply amazing. My morning walk to the ocean topped off our incredible stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for solace and tranquility with elegance.

patricia.friendsJun 19, 2022 Glengorm is stunning. The staff was very friendly. The room was well appointed and looked over a field of highland cattle then on to the sea. I felt relaxed from the time I walked in. Can’t wait to stay again, and will recommend to friends and family.
A wonderful overnight stay in this amazing location with stunning sea and clifftop views.Very comfortable rooms,friendly staff and a first class breakfast made it a wonderful experience which I look forward to repeating in the future.

We've been there as a family of three one weekend in January. The weather was very miserable but, to be honest, this was actually what made it feel so charming and comfy. Marianne who runs the place was very welcoming and pleasant upon arrival and showed us around all the lovely rooms in the castle. The room was a good enough size and the bathroom massive. Breakfast was also good, with cooked breakfast and a great choice of home made jams and marmalades. For us the best was to stay around the fireplace having a wee dram and a quiet chat. Would definitely recommend but I also think with nice weather it wouldn't have felt the same.

The grounds include fantastic walks along the coast, ancient standing stones, Highland cows! Breakfast was also very nice. We had a great time. And very dig friendly. The staff were great too

Großartiges Schloss von 1860 - in vielerlei Hinsicht bemerkenswert. Auch die Umgebung lohnt — Frühstück Top.
Un vrai bonheur cette escale ! Le château est magnifique, l’environnement exceptionnel, l’accueil très sympathique. Mariana et Marjorie vous préparent un petit déjeuner inoubliable dans la salle à manger. Nous le recommanderons à tous nos amis pour leur voyage sur l’île de Mull.
Nous avons été très bien reçus par une famille qui se cherche qu'à rendre votre séjour agréable. Les propriétaires vous mettent tout de suite à l'aise dans cette bâtisse imposante datant de 1860. Ils sont font même très discret et vous laisse le soir le château pour vous en se retirant dans leurs appartements.
Les chambres sont spacieuses. La literie est de qualité. Tous les équipements (robinetterie, vasque, TV, lit, etc...) sont récents avec une touche rétro. Tout est de bon goût. Prendre un bain face à la mer dans un château est un plaisir rare.
Prendre son petit déjeuner face à l'océan en mangeant des produits frais (confitures maison - que l'on peut acheter à la boutique située en contre bas du château -, salade de fruits frais délicieuse, avec un vrai café noir, du black pudding, du haggins, des oeufs, des croissants, des toasts, etc.. ) vous donne le sourire pour toute la journée. La châtelaine s'inquiète alors de votre nuit et vous demande si elle peut encore faire plus pour vous.
Au rez de chaussée, plusieurs pièces sont accessibles : Le soir, après avoir dîner au village, vous pouvez ainsi jouer au billard en regardant le soleil se coucher, prendre un whisky (plusieurs bouteilles de qualité sont laissées à votre disposition dans le bar) en discutant avec d'autres pensionnaires, vous pouvez lire un livre devant un feu de bois, etc.. Le nombre de chambres étant limités, les pièces étant très grandes, vous êtes dans un endroit calme à l'ambiance feutrée.
