Great place to go, at walking distance from the best of Salzburg.

Very nice for an overnight stay
It was very hot in the room. Other then that, they were very accommodating.
Location was not good. Not walkable to train station. City center is approximately a 20 minute walk as well. Internet wasn’t working properly. I tried to log on several times but couldn’t. Warm water in the shower turned to cool water within 10 minutes. Breakfast was very skimpy but staff asked a lot for it. (7 euros) I would have to recommend a different property. Although hotel was very quiet. Hotel staff obliged when I asked for a room facing the courtyard.
The room and bathroom are spacious, it takes about 15 mins walk to old town or train station.

Basic hotel but clean with everything you would need.
Hotel Drei is a bit of a mixed bag. It is a 3 star hotel but when compared to other 3 star hotels I have stayed in in Western Europe, it feels a little less than 3 stars. Eg. Reception is till 8pm at night and doesn't open until 6am in the morning, the bathrooms and flooring were quite outdated, the towels were old and very tattered, and pillows poor. We stayed four nights and no toiletries were provided until the last night of our stay, which was just 1 packet of shampoo and shower gel (for 2 people). Other 3 star hotels provide a lot more toiletries.
The beds were comfortable, however, the pillows were rubbish. They were very flat. The bed is advertised as a double, however, it was 2 singles put together. Im aware this is common in Europe, but I didn't encounter this anywhere else in Europe on my trip this time round. If the hotel advertises 'double bed' this is what should be provided, not two singles put together.
The location is ok, you can walk to the Old Town, Mirabelle Gardens etc or catch 04 bus into town.
The guy at reception on our last day was nice and printed off our train tickets for us.
Very convenient location to the main parts of town for the price. Only a block from two great breweries. Our bathroom was also recently renovated in an otherwise dated building which was a pleasant surprise.

Our room was very clean. Breakfast is lacking. Needs eggs, yogurt etc.
verified t.familyJul 01, 2019 The location was great, but it was SO HOT and there were no fans in the room making virtually impossible to sleep. Room fans would be so helpful. Also, each day there was one tiny packet of shampoo/body gel per person. It was so hot we needed 2 showers per day. It would be better to have a container in the shower that was refilled so guests were not limited - especially on very hot days. In addition, I tried to use part of my packet and left the other part in the shower for that evening since it was so hot, and the cleaning person removed it :(

Breakfast is basic but it's only 7 Euro to be fair, well worth that cost.
Parking is opposite on a scruffy bit of land and is 8 Euro a night.
No air con and a bit noisy at the front with the windows open.
We had a great stay here and would go back to this hotel.
Good place in good location
Very helpful front desk staff. Great location - bus ride or even walking distance from main attractions. And free parking, which was a bonus for us.
No ac, loud construction outside, had to have windows open for air, but construction too noisy to sleep. Breakfast was bare minimum. But Staff was accommodating and let us check out 1 hour late.

Stayed for two nights and I do like the hotel so much. Great location, friendly staff, and the good restaurant nearby. The room is very clean.

Lacks aircon, also the roadworks happening just outside are loud and start unacceptabley early, however that should just be a temporary problem
Convenient hotel with little thrills
We picked this hotel primarily since we were a family of four and the price was reasonable. It is somewhat halfway between the train station and the center of Salzburg which made it a good choice also. We did not choose their breakfast for 5 Euro but that was our choice, not due to the quantity of food.
