Lovely convenient apartment
Nice apartment, need a mirror in the bedroom and two chairs at the table. I wanted breakfast on Monday morning, got back late Saturday, reception was closed and not open all day Sunday so had a croissant at the supermarket at 12:00 pm 🙁🙁
It was as advertised and excellent value for money.
david.partnerOct 03, 2023 This is a very basic place to stay, but very friendly and helpful staff, very convenient and in a pleasant neighbourhood. Our unit, and I believe most of the units, had a balcony and useful kitchenette, laundry room on the main floor.
They were super attentive at the reception, the house is clean but the internet was very weak, there was no internet in the room, just in the entrance near the door. the nights were very hot, they could have had fans other than that everything was perfect.
l'appartement est plutôt spacieux et il y a tout ce qu'il faut.
Very helpful reception, provided a fan for my parents and explained the entry codes etc so we felt safe and secure

A good alternative to a standard hotel
Limited public parking. Private parking possible with extra payment. Reception open for limited hours. Nice people. Elevators to top floors. Quiet environment.
verified t.familyJun 01, 2019 Location within easy range of CERN. Easy to get into Geneva on short bus journey then regular trams. Thought it would be stressful but mountain back drops and walking around was pretty cool to be moving back and forth from France and Switzerland sides of border. A lot more practical than it sounds on paper.

Beautiful place great little town but NO good food places only about 5 restaurants at all and a little far from Geneva but very easy access

Nice apartment with kitchenette. Quiet location close to supermarket local butcher and bakery. Good connection to Geneva and direct bus from airport.
Had a two week work trip in Geneva and my normal place was full, so I stayed here. The room was small, but clean/comfortable and had a kitchenette as well. The staff was very nice, though the reception has weird hours. St. Genis itself is pretty sleepy, but the Y bus is just a 5 minute walk away.
Check-in is easy, but one need sto watch the emails carefully not to miss the instructions to enter the building and get the key (especially on weekends when the reception closes well ahead fo the earliest checking time possible). The room was clean and tidy, though the equipment was a bit dated, with balcony being a nice bonus. One gets two towels per person - just enough to get along. The cleaning is done once a week, but for about 10 euros (depending on the room size) one can be requested from reception. The dining in the area might be problematic (there are only two or three places within the walking distance) but given the number of construction sites in the town this should probably improve in the next couple of years. There is a tiny gym availabe for residents onsite as well
Great stop over close to airport
Great place in a rural area but so close to the airport it was perfect. Very quiet, very easy to find and access and great for a stay en route to the airport.
Good place for long term stay for business travelers. Convenient to CERN, with Y-bus access to Geneva area. Clean and reasonably comfortable, with mini kitchen in rooms, but nothing special. Ok wifi and a decent exercise room. Breakfasts are rudimentary and probably not worth the extra cost. I wouldn't recommend it as a romantic getaway, but perfectly adequate for a business trip.
Nice hotel in 10 minutes from Geneva Airport
I had a very nice stay here. The room was clean and well taken care of. It had a small balcony on the 5th floor that had a view of the local mountains. For a European hotel, with a hallway kitchen and a bathroom included, it was a good size. Front desk people were very nice and spoke English reasonably well, better then my French for sure. Parking outside is free, only the underground parking is additional payment, but I didn't feel the need for that. There are local shops with in walking distance maybe 1/2 a mile away.
This is on the French side, not the Swiss side of Geneva, and technically you are crossing the border, but there was never anyone at the border crossing booth for the four days I was here.
They offered a breakfast that looked good from what I could see, for less then 10 Euro, but I never tried it. Geneva is expensive, so this was a good deal.
Also, wifi was free and a good speed.
Overall I would stay here again.
It was a good experience overall. The directions we were given did not give the direction of the bus terminal we were looking for so it made it complicated. Entry was easy and so was collecting our key. Bed in living area was already made up which was good. Not enough towels and bins weren't emptied unfortunately. Room had enough equipment and utensils but fridge had an odour to it. Location was nice and local amenities were satisfactory. Local transport was good to Geneva
Even though the office was closed on Sunday everything was ready for the check in keys etc very organized great experience
