Room was lovely, large safe, modern and clean (bathroom too).
Walking distance to shopping areas, restaurants and public transport. Away from main road so not too noisy at night.

I loved staying in this hotel! It should be rated 4 stars, not just 3! It has a nice ambiance and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a 10 min walk from a subway station.
The staff was extremely kind and attentive, the service was top notch, you can appreciate their effort in every single detail to make their guest’s stay comfortable!
When I arrived my luggage was already placed in my room. The room itself was quite spacious.
Next time, I am definitely choosing this hotel again!

Great hotel for the price. Centrally located in the heart of kyoto & close to all the metros. Service was excellent. Only complaint has to do with the booking itself. You only get 1 cleaning the whole stay. We upgraded to include daily cleaning because we have a baby & stayed for 7 nights. Some possible cons: mattress is not very comfortable & it’s right in front of a school, which can be noisy during the day.

Great experience! Everything was perfect. 10 minute walk to shopping district.
Booked a standard double room for 4 nights, and it’s as tiny as usual like other hotels in Japan. The AC was mysterious set on some timer which caused it to switch off the AC completely in the middle of the night. We were woken up for two nights due to poor ventilation and heat in the room. It majorly affects our mood and energy traveling in Kyoto.
