Embudu Village

Had a safe and pleasant stay at Embudu village. This was an amazing experience for us.. We were on our Honeymoon for 7 days at Embudu Village❤️ and we spent wonderful time here. Island is huge with 360° scenic view. The best part about our stay here was helpful staff and vegetarian food. Being vegetarians, people had scared us that we will stive with hunger for veg food :p however on all days we got proper and delicious veg food. We were truly impressed with the options we had for veg food for breakfast as well as dinner (as we had selected Half board package). All the staff here are friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. As they come and check with you often if everything is fine or we need anything. Would like to specially mention about Niranjan sir (restaurant supervisor) & Ravindra sir (Bar attendant). Rasheed (Reception Manager) helped us as we were stuck in a unforeseen ordeal for one of the resort bookings we had made. We had such an awesome time there with picturesque view, friendly staff, amazing veg food and pleasant stay due to serene blue waters and white sand beach😍 Not to forget it also has in house diving school, snorkeling and other excursions. Also has a cute souvenir shop, Jewellery shop, Bar & Restaurant. As their tagline suggests it was truly - Your Home away from Home..❤️☺️
Had a safe and pleasant stay at embudu village.

We stayed at embudu for 9 nights and 10 days. We took the full board option (all meals included) and we stayed in their water villa the room was spacious, comfortable. The only thing i didn’t like was that - they don’t have room service for food and drinks. They also don’t clean the room very thouroughlly daily. They only change towel and sweep the floor. There is coffee make with coffee and water given with the room the activities - they have a diving center which have activities everyday from snorkel to scuba to boat rides and every other water sport. They also have a badminton court, library, pool table, foosball table and table tennis the food - it was good, big variety for vegetarians and non vegetarians. We got bored of the receptiveness of the buffet. But overall the food was good. The bar - try the long island ice tea it’s really a kicker. They had some good cocktails and the bar tenders were very nice people overall our stay was very nice and comfortable. I would recommend to everyone looking for a budget comfortable activity filled stay.

There was nithing to criticize, place is awesome, staff is way too good and courteous. If we talk about food they get tourists from different continents yet they try to keep everyone happy Safety standards are far above best. Daily fumigation and sanitization to kill virus and mosquitoes 🦟. Rooms were clean, no lizards or insects while you are on a beach villa. Ocean at your doorstep...A must must place for vacations in Maldives and its light on pocket too im comparison to other resorts
Very less contact with staff, separate and same tabkes assigned at restaurant for everyday meal to keep it safe, only chef servings food and less human touch, everybody was with masks and shield. Proper temperature checks and covid testing facility also available at resort only. We stayed there for 4 days and got ourselves tested before leaving and yes we were healty and covid negative. Sanitisers and hand washing stations installed at almost all places.

I stayed with my family of 3, including a kid of 2 years. The most economical and equally awesome experience of a water bungalow/villa we got here. Even though the in-house coral is Dead at some places but you will get a lifetime experience especially if you are a beginner in Snorkeling. Nice food but not many options for vegetarians as we faced some issues but still they will arrange something to get your tummy full. I appreciate Mr. Niranjan who was the only person taking care of the Indian families present there, as other waiters were too busy in taking care of the foreigners from West. The best part of water bungalows are the glass view on the bottom from where you can See fishes. We saw a lot of fishes and also baby reef sharks. Overall I had a lifetime experience especially on my wedding anniversary as they have specially arranged flower bed, cake, wine and fruit basket. Love to visit again to this beautiful Island and resort.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner all planned in correct timings. With lots and lots of varaities almost all continental dishes assembled for you. Even you have a pinch in a veraity you can't eat all veraity. Excellent service from staffs. Wide dining hall with lighting create a best ambiance
God Gifted Maldivian these islands. Excellent clear water we couldn't expect. 30mt visibility underwater , Sharks and Baby sharks visible frequently not to fear it's harmless. Octopus 🐙 we saw few. This island was an Metarnity Hospital for Fishes I think. lots and lots of Baby Fishes around. colourful fishes and live corals make us Delighted. white sand beaches around and Bar with sea view. Once visit without fail you will be embraced.

We stayed in water bungalow for three days. Everything was perfect right from immediate airport pick up to early check in, breakfast, lunch dinner. Restaurant manager is one of the nicest person. Only issue I had was my return journey. As there was high tide when we left. Our speedboat was moving up and down continuously. So we have requested person who were there on ship to give us safety jackets but the fellow simply rejected saying nothing to worry. Safety jackets are for safety purpose not for keeping in the shelves.

We went to honeymoon with the celebration of both of our birthday. They arranged everything we asked for. Very good hospitality, servise. Mr niranjan has been for us to make us comfortable in village. We had a beach villa which is dead opposite to our room door. That was most excitement to both of us. We had a great time there, felt like not going away from the emebudu village.

It was 3 nights stay and 2 nights at water bungalow. Are well maintained and good. They added Indian menu into food just for two of us and taste was good enough. Last night in beach villa. Not that great as water bungalow. One day of our day was rainy day and bad weather. Still we got good leisure. Figure to mention snorkeling was awesome Overall it was good experience.

A much recommended spot for all kinds of groups whether its a family or friends or a couple. This resort is located on a small private Island which includes all kinds of water sports. Such an exotic view. Various species of fishes in different colors. Friendly sharks and what not. We loved our stay here and hope we'll get here back soon.

The safety precautions taken by the resort was excellent. Common areas were sanitized every 6 hours i guess. The staff were very polite and always smiling. Amazing people and amazing resort. Also the prices are very reasonable for the excursions and alcohol. The resort is very nearby to male city so doesn't take long to reach.

Amazing place to spend a vacation as this small and beautiful island is serene and has extremely hospitable staff. The beaches were great with clean water and a great variety of marine wildlife. The diving excursions planned by Diverland are also amazing and is a one-off experience in life.

Location is super, awesome, staff is amazing, cleanliness is very good, only food was pathetic and you can not go anywhere else because it's a Island so over all eating out of 5 is 3 just because of food.
There was no TV in the room and pathetic food. Else staff was very polite.

All the staff members are cooperative. We resided in room no 57 for six days. Location was also very good. Mr niranjan helped us a lot

First i was skeptical but i feel

Affordable stay in Maldives but it is difficult for vegetarian people to survive. Luckily, Niranjan (restaurant's manager) cooked vegetarian food for us.

We stayed in water villa. And was thrilled to See under water life from inside the room.

I have got 2 nights water villa with full board meal. So it was a good deal as a comparison to other resorts. Staffs were very polite and supporting. Especially Vishal in the front desk. Buffet is only good for non-vegetarians people. They provide very less items of vegetarian food.

Great option for budget travelers. Fantastic house reef, snorkeling and diving. Food little repetitive but more than serviceable if you are not picky. Fantastic staff who make the property what it is.

The location is awesome. Speed boat ride to resort is magnificent. Niranjan the chef is too friendly and he takes care of individuals. Must visit place once in life time.

We stayed here for 5 days, must say everything was excellent, special mention for the restaurant manager mr niranjan & guys in the diving center, you guys were really great in making this a memorable holiday.

It was really wonderful experience in Embudu, for the location and view from resort, only we can pay the entire money. The fishes are visible everywhere around you and for diving and snorkeling, you will have a great time going around. It's 5 star experience.

An awesome honeymoon trip i had staying embudu water bungalow for 4 days. Excellent hospitality and food.

Food was excellent but some indian items to be included for vegetarians in breakfast. Fans are to be provided at outside porch of rooms as most of the time tourists sits and enjoy.

Had the most wonderful snorkeling experience and a wonderful holiday, thanks to the wonderful staff members.

All was great. Hospitality, location, food. Could have included a few more water sports activities.

It was a very pleasant stay felt like paradise.

Great place to stay it. Hardly 20 minutes from the airport. Beautiful island with lots of secluded spots to spend your time. Beaches were great, the buffets had good variety, the corals were beautiful, the staff was very helpful and kept the place clean.

Best for snorkelling, love this place.
