Furama City Centre Hotel

One word - excellent! i travel-led from new delhi(india) to singapore along with my family. Booked standard room which had a king size bed and a baby cot. I was a little cautious while checking-in (late checkin) as i had read very bad reviews about the Furama City Centre Hotel (old/archaic/not well maintained. To my pleasant surprise the room was all ready - i barely had to wait 2 min before i was given the room keys. Very courteous reception staff. In room dining - they charge you 5sgd extra each time - better you have your meal at tiffany's (their restaurant. We had ordered prawn curry and rice along with pasta - loved both. This Furama City Centre Hotel is bang middle of chinatown with clarks quay right opposite and very close to central business district. The Furama City Centre Hotel lobby is connected with the over ridge to chinatown central (mall) where level b2 is the chinatown mrt. There is a 7 eleven both in the Furama City Centre Hotel building as well as chinatown central (so you can get m1 sim cards/ mart ezlink card/basic food items there. Hotel is also at a walking distance from luau pa sat hawker center (we had multiple meals there) - def try their satey with beer and indian food. Few details about the Furama City Centre Hotel which you should know: 1. It's a green Furama City Centre Hotel - no plastic bottles - there is 1 l glass bottle and you can fill it with ro water from the dispenser right on the floor. There is one in each floor. 2. Room cleaning is every 3rd day. 3. You can get fresh towels, dental kits, dustbin bags at request from reception. (they don't pick room service calls) you need to physically go to the lobby reception and place a request. 4. The room tv has built in youtube, netflix, spotify - life savers to engage my 1 yr old daughter. Overall i had a great stay and recommend it to all basis the central location (from most tourist attractions- marina bay sands(harbour front, gardens by the bay, luau pa sat, merlin park, sentosa - all not more than 15 min away)

My family planned a trip to Singapore after much deliberation. Although we were highly optimistic after hearing and Reading reviews on Singapore through friends and various portals, there was high curiosity and desperation in all of us for our visit. Since I was booking the Hotel for our stay, my emphasis was to get some property in Chinatown or on the Bay sands as I wanted to have a real feel of Singapore. Finally I narrowed down to Furama City Centre in Chinatown mainly due to its proximity from other locations. Booking the Hotel was a nice experience as I received a mail from them on confirmation of our booking. I was still skeptical of the facilities they might be providing us. Tried mailing them some times and got adequate replies to my mails. Finally the d-day came. We reached Chinatown Station through MRT as we wanted to explore the City to the fullest. I asked a lady near the MRT Station to guide us the way to the Hotel. She pleasantly did. The Hotel is just 1 building away from the Chinatown MRT Station. We were greeted at the Hotel by smiling staff. We were offered the room quite quickly. Next doubt in my mind was on how could the room be. Oh, it got cleared soon. We were given a very fabulous room which was of decent size. Comfortable bed and other furnishing. Tired we took a brief nap and went out to explore the Hotel anticipating about the shock the breakfast will give us the next morning we are pure veg and expecting suitable food there in a Hotel in Chinatown was something too big to expect and yes, we were fully surprised to See a wide variety of vegetarian items on the breakfast table. The Hotel staff also helped us locate tour operators to get tickets for the locations we wanted to visit and also shared some places where we can take our children too. All-in all it was one of my most memorable stays in a Hotel and one of the most memorable trip as well. Thanks Furama for making it so pleasant for us.

I did Furama City Centre Hotel booking 3 months in advance but then was worried. During my 5 days stay with family & 7 years old daughter furama city centre. The room (executive club room was exactly as shown in the picture with all the room amenities & facing towards - singapore fly-er (picture attached) the breakfast was included in the room cost & it has wide choice including live counters like omlette, waffle etc (american / continental breakfast. They also offered happy hours for executive lunge (free drinks) between 6 to 8 pm which we didn't get any chance to avail. Pros - 1) mart & bus stops are just at down stairs of the Furama City Centre Hotel. 2) 2 mins walkable distance to china town, clarke quay & boat key 3) walking distance to (approx 1 kms) marina by sands, garden by the bay, merlin park etc. Hourbour front is just 2 stations away from china town so u can easily connect to sentosa & universal studio. 4) room cleaning happened after 3 days as mentioned, but on my request they cleaned the room everyday. My request for a room clean was immediately conveyed to the room service team. 5) they have placed tap water machines on each floor which becomes easy to save the money on mineral water. Also on many attractions points like mbs, gbb, zoo, sea aquarium etc u will find tap water machines which encourage tourists to have a plastic free environment. 6) breakfast from india tourist perspective - they have wide range of american break fast but it also consist of few indian varieties like roti, daal, rice & sabji along with live counters omelette, fruits, juice, pastry etc. 6) the pool & gym was good enough to enjoy your holidays. Cons - 1) i didn't find any flaws with furama but just to mention the floor carpets are bit old. Overall i am pretty much happy with my 5 days stay @ furama city centre & would definitely consider again for the next singapore trip.

The Furama City Centre Hotel is a good choice for tourists and business travellers alike. I stayed there for 2 nights and was on a business trip. Pros: 1. *prime location* china town, clarke quay, boat quay within 100-500m walking distances. Just opposite chinatown point mall and hong limo market & food center. Cbd and downtown short distance (1-2kms) away. Can walk, use mrt or taxi. 2. *transportation* - within 100m of china town mrt, 200m from central mrt. Located on a prominent crossing. Buses and taxis easily available. 3. Stay: 4 star quality rooms with a comfortable bed and great views. Ask for a higher floor with marina view, you won't regret. In room amenities are standard and everything you need is provided. Bathroom with a bathtub and plus a shower. 4. Check-in & out- it was a breeze 5. Super quite indoors and ac worked well. Cons: 1. The building, floor corridors and room design are a bit old. Lobby access was a challenge as both the escalators were broken. Reception area needs immediate redesign to make it livelier and brighter. It is a put off, but not a let down as the staff is super prompt and helpful. 2. Floor corridors were dull and dimly lit. It was a bit depressing for me. 3. House-keeping needs to be called for room service. They missed cleaning my room on their own. Had to call them in the evening, after i got back to the Furama City Centre Hotel from work. 4. Bathroom needs to be brighter with more lights. I had trouble when i was shaving and generally. 5. Low security. Lifts had open access. So anyone could get on to the them. I know its singapore and safe, but this can become a security issue for some. All in all, this property is a pleasant choice on multiple counts and stay rates are quite competitive. So i would definitely choose it again for the convenience it offers.

Location is the biggest win for this Furama City Centre Hotel! It is a couple of minutes walking distance away from Chinatown MRT Station. Also, surrounded by shopping malls and convenience stores around, with loads of places to eat at get some coffee or even catch up with friends or business contacts for a quick drink. We were 3 of us and the triple room we got was quite spacious considering sing ocean Furama City Centre Hotel room sizes and came with one double a one single beds. The staff was very courteous and helpful. All in all highly recommended if you're looking for budget accommodation close to MRT to make your commute around the city much easier and fun!

We were staying in Furama City Centre which was just a minute walk from Chinatown MRT exit the which helped us to take full advantage of the excellent MRT service provided by the Singapore govt. The room we got upgraded to was marvellous and has an awesome view. The rooms are large in size and the staffs clean it up every day. Also after checking out they stored our luggage for few hours and even allowed us to repack everything in there waiting area. So, if you are up for a nice, warm, hygienic and comfortable Furama City Centre Hotel experience you should really opt for Furama.

Was on business trip to Singapore for a week. Very central location. 5 mts away from MRT, lot of eateries and bars in vicinity. Very close to business district, Bugis, Clarkson Quay, Orchard Got a nice clean large room on 22nd floor, although view could have been better... All I could see was a lot of construction. Breakfast spread and inroom dining options could definitely improve. Service quality was excellent. Overall, it was pretty good. Would definitely stay again.

The Furama City Centre Hotel location was perfect, near two stations, connected with a bridge to china point mall which had many options for food and shopping. The places i wanted to visit were also at a walking distance. It was so good for me because i could return to the Furama City Centre Hotel in the afternoon for a relax time then continue my trip out again. The room was so clean and spacious and view was amazing.

It's a nice Hotel great for business travellers with all the necessary amenities. We were travelling as a couple and thus expected a Hotel with more open spaces and more airy feel still it was a pleasant experience. The room had a great view of the Singapore flyer. China Town and clarke Quey is right next door. There are lot of shopping places close by. It's location is great and everything is in close proximity.

The Furama City Centre Hotel is neat and clean. Location is excellent with two different mrts located in less than 200m. chinatown and clarke quay located in less than 200m. Breakfast options were a good spread overall. Only thing is there’s no such thing as in room service. But all in all if going for a holiday and need not stay in the Furama City Centre Hotel except for sleeping. Then it’s recommended.

Our stay at Furama city center Furama City Centre Hotel was excellent. Check in and check out was very smooth. Breakfast was incredibly good in terms of variety, quality, and service. The room was very comfortable with all the required facilities. The Furama City Centre Hotel staff is very friendly. Overall a great experience. One of the best located Furama City Centre Hotels in singapore. Spacious and very clean, comfortable room. Super courteous staff who are always there to assist. Our interaction with ms. Revathi at the furama city centre reception was delightful, who helped us with the bookings and all the information in and around the area.

Good location and good Furama City Centre Hotel. Very close to mart and decent malls. Will stay here again if get a chance. Food is easy yo get delivered in case you dont want to step out and 7-11 are close by in case anything else is required. All in all family had s very good trip

Room size are nice with beautiful washrooms.

The only slight feedback I have is that I requested for an extra duvet on checking into our room and was shot down instantly. After four nights I requested the receptionist this time and he complied. Hotel staff were great too.

Super Furama City Centre Hotel. I have stayed in form several times and it has been wonderful experience every time. The location is in the city centre and very close to marina Bay Sands.

it is centrally located, Chinatown and Clarkey MRT stations are just 550 and 400 meters away, one can reach without crossing road using connected over bridge corridors.

The Hotel is pretty close to attractions places and easy to get train and bus access. It was so easy to travel from one place to other place and save time. The staff was really kind and helpful. Thanks Furama, we love to come again and again.

Very nice stay with good food and friendly staff very helpful and service is very good, close by metro station makes easy convenient travel. Bus stop just below the Furama City Centre Hotel. Nearby food joints, yes indian food also, will definitely come back here again thanks.

Very near to MRT, has great connectivity plus food is readily available nearby and a very nice view from Furama City Centre Hotel rooms. Overall a very good experience at Furama city centre. Definitely looking forward to stay again.
