Hotel 81 Dickson

Stayed a night at this place. Very close to j elan besar station. Room is quite compact but comfortable. There was no window in the room i stayed, which is probably not appreciated by all. Apparently the next upgrade room will have a window, which i didn't opt for. Reception team were helpful and supportive. Only observation is that the surface (floor) below the beds in my room were very unkempt. It appeared that house keeping didn't attempt to push the beds and clean it properly. I dropped something on the floor and when i looked down to pick up my thing, i noticed so much dust and muck under the bed. House keeping should take care of this. Another concern i faced was the air conditioner. It's controlled by the reception and not from the room. You have to call the reception to switch on or off the ac. But overall, its value for money place. Located close to lots of eateries and about a kilometre to mustafa department store

This Hotel 81 Dickson is at the heart of indian restaurants. So if you are indian or like indian foods for a moderate cost, go for this place ! rooms are extremely small, but i would say that this is enough. Being a expensive city, i must say this Hotel 81 Dickson’s per day rent is quite reasonable. This is the static equivalent of air asia. You get what you pay. Great thing is two mart stations are near. Take rochor metro if you are exploring city or going out towards airport. Use jalan besar metro if you are coming into Hotel 81 Dickson from airport. Special luggage storage space is there so that if you are checking out in the morning, roam around and booked late night flight to home.

Hotel was recommended by a friend living in singapore. Very budget friendly for travellers. I booked a no window standard room. It's a very small room with a bed, dressing table & clean attached bathroom. Room is being cleaned well everyday, with bedsheets changed on alternate days. 2 small bottled water provided everyday to room along with coffee power, tea sachets and milk powder. The room has 2 mugs and a kettle, along with a hair dryer. Clean towels provided everyday. Lot of shacks/restaurants within walking distance. Cons: - no wardrobe to store luggage / dress - area not suitable for conservative families, as the area is being roamed around by drinkers & pro*itutes

location of the Hotel 81 Dickson is excellent. very close and central to 3-4 mrt stations, jalan besar 200 mtrs, rochor, 300 mtrs, little india and bugies about 500 - 600 mtrs. close to famous indian pure vegetarian restaurants, komal vilasa, mtr, kailash parbat, anand bhawan etc. rooms are smaller and average. bathroom is also smaller. staff is good.. Hotel 81 Dickson is close to main tourist areas namely marina bay front, merlion statue and the bayfront promenade, mbs skypark and gardens by the bay. botanical gardens of singapore, fort canning park and clarke quay are a few more tourist attractions which all are nearby.

The reception person were nice and allowed us to check-in one hour before the normal check-in time. The iron was provided when asked. The room was fine as per budget Hotel 81 Dickson and the Hotel 81 Dickson lobby had storage as well as sitting arrangements. The room telephone was not working, on the last day (a day before our check out date, nobody cleaned the room and not provided towels and coffee/tea sachets, else they did it on a daily basis. The water bottle provided was one 500ml on a daily basis, although they have water dispenser at ground level. 5 mints walk to mart and bus stops. Overall a good stay.

Hotel 81 Dickson road is a great place for indian travellers. Because it is in the center of all indian restaurants and walkable to 3 nearest mart stations. Jalan beser, rochor and little india. Also Hotel 81 Dickson rooms and specious and bathrooms are clean. Room service is good and they provide instant tea solutions for morning breakfast if you have some biscuits toast like menus in u rs laggage. My experience about this place is best and if you come out of Hotel 81 Dickson you would get dozens of indian or veg food options also like poori bhaji within 100mtr distance.

A great Hotel 81 Dickson in the vicinity of a number of transport as well as eating options. The rooms were near and clean though a little small in size. Crisp and clean sheets, towels, toiletries and good air conditioning made the stay very comfortable. Plenty of food options in the vicinity of the Hotel 81 Dickson made it pretty comfortable. Rochor mrt, jalan besar mart and bugis mart are just walking distance and saved a lot of time and effort.

The Hotel 81 Dickson is at a very convenient location (close to popular tourist attractions. Mrts stations are also available nearby. Multiple affordable food spots are available at a walkable distance. The rooms are clean and good for the price. However, rooms doesn't have windows. They also have luggage racks at the reception to store our luggage incase we reach earlier than the check-in time.

I specifically want to take this opportunity to thank mr rahman who is actually a man of hospitality industry. The promotors of the Hotel 81 Dickson should review the behavioral acts of each employee! mr rahman dose the best and every thing possible to keep the pax happy. I with my whole family with my sister was in that property for 10 days i sincerely appreciate the guesture of mr rahman

Pros - early check in provided to us, clean room with daily cleaning and alternate days bedsheet change. Water dispenser at ground level. Glass window in superior deluxe room. Aircon temperature controller. Taxi booking assistance. Iron/iron board on call 5 mints walk to public transport cons - daily coffee and water bottle (though one only) in room telephone was not working

Provided door mats, handjet in washroom would make life easier, clean, hygiene, and healthier. And an optional fan would be additional advantage for tourists. Otherwise we felt good staying here.

The 2 nights stay at Hotel 81 Dickson 81 Dickson was amazing. The Hotel 81 Dickson staff are very polite and gave us the room at 1pm, an hour before check-in time, as the room was ready.

We stayed 6 days and have wonderful experience of indian food and south indian food. Hotel location is excellent just 3 mins walk nearest mart for easy excessively

It was compact room all the facilities mentioned in the details were present. It was a good experience.

Location is very good. Mart station is right outside and restaurants just around the corner. Bus stand is located on the other side of the road. Very convenient. Staff is very polite and speak fluent english so no communication problem. Hotel rooms are clean and facilities provided are water boiling kettle, hair dryer, hot water supply, tv etc.

This Hotel 81 Dickson is situated at a very conveinent place in little india, all food joints are in walking distance. Mart stations and bus stands are located nearby so commuting is very convenient.
