Sea front villa is with the best ocean view i have ever had - literally 5 steps from the private pool on the deck. Property is on coastal road with rooms facing the road (jacuzzi rooms) and sea front villas with private pool facing the ocean - take stairs down the resort restaurant to step on the beach. Resort is on the west coast of koh samui. 15 mins car drive to samui center, chaweng and lamai beach night markets. All is perfect in terms of location, view and value for money. Now the not so good parts - not a single member of staff who could understand or speak a simple straight sentence of english. The only restaurant at the resort closes at 9:30 with no food or room service beyond that time. For vegetarians, either there are no food options or are not worth spending money on. Even basic club sandwiches are not good enough. Good food for meat and sea food enthusiasts. Charges 80 baht for a glass of milk and 60 baht for a bottle of water. They even charge for a bucket of ice (essential for drinking. Housekeeping only provides three pints of water bottles in a day. Even they don’t respond beyond 9pm. So pleasure of vacation with enjoyable in-room dining or ordering from within the comfort of one’s room, is non-existent. All in all, balanced review, with good view but not so good food. You can always stay out and eat good food. But even outside couldn’t find good vegetarian or indian food. There are several options for such palate but average food in terms of taste.

Location was up to the mark. It was so amazing view as we are staying in Pool Villa that we don't feel to go out. Food quality is very good. Breakfast was also had so much of variety. Room service and cleanliness was too good they were so good to care about the nature and all.

The staff was not very pro active in cleaning the pool area with utensils glasses etc. The mattresses had a huge gap from the centre that can’t be fixed, found a lizard roaming around the room at midnight. But location of the property was breathtaking.

Everything couldn’t have been better. It was the best decision to stay at The Sarann and especially the sea front pool villa was the icing on the cake. From property to location to staff to THE VIEWS, everything was perfect. Kudos to the team!

I booked the room with private pool and the view was amazing the food is excellent specially thai dishes. Don't order european food in thailand and it won't be like how u expect it to be. Overall experience was 10/10.
