Good hotel but very outdated

Hospitality and service was good and food is really great but the hotel is really old and outdated. It’s under maintenance for over 5-6 months now. The gym and 2 restaurants are being renovated. The executive lounge 14th floor was not operational as it was under maintenance. Buffet breakfast is served in pergolas which is really cramped, seating is limited. We had booked the swiss executive room with lounge access and the room is really old. Heard from other guests that all rooms are old and need maintenance. Our room safe didn’t work even after the staff tried for 6 days. The washbasin and bathtub gave us problems throughout our stay.

The property is old and needs maintenance food options for breakfast needs an upgrade swimming pool is not kept as clean approach to hotel and apartment is quite haywire overall satisfactory but not value for money and would request if it is made more affordable going forward thanks

Refund of amount for cancellation of 1 room

I had booked hotel in dubai swissotel al murooj from 14 october to 17 october 2024 2 rooms two bedroom apartment was booked by mistake. We required only 1 room two bedroom apartment. For cancel-ling 1 room i spoke to the hotel, they said cancellation of 1 room can only be done, it is usually received once stay of guests is complete. I requested the hotel to please do the needful this will facilitate save lot of money. I spoke to many persons well in time so that it could be canceled but nobody responded to my requests. Now my trip is over and i don’t know weather i will get the refund or not.

I didn’t even checked in because i missed my flight but my another guest left the property after waiting for 5 hours on 24th of september, i raised a complaint at that instance immediately but no one took any action i am going to leave makemytrip for this terrible experience and would rate a 0 star for all the inconvenience caused and my money got wasted.

The brand is big, but we had a check-in issue slightly delayed, room are located did not have any power sockets working. Too many calls for setting up their tripped electric lines. Finally, they changed the room to another, which caused us a lot of inconvenience. They were given a higher category room apparently, but that also had the same problem. There are issues pertaining to the wear and tear of the property. If you’re looking at going to the biggest mall in Asia then yes the location is fantastic. You can also enjoy some nice beauty, salons, and café nearby. Download carrems , which is UAEs local Taxi application to help you get anywhere. Thank you.

Very good location just opposite to dubai mall. Checking in was seamless but for checkout we had to wait a little longer though we informed earlier. But other than that service was very good hotel is clean and people were welcoming. Got a good deal

This is really wonderful hotel (swissotel al murooj) that's the reason i have stayed 2nd time in same hotel. Hotel environment is very nice, hotel view is very awesome, staff are very polite and helpful, a good part of this hotel is very near of dubai mall/burj khalifa. Overall good experience and expending a good time.

Jacuzzi was not there, wc was not cleaned properly. What i liked the most was the swimming pool. The customer service was not so good it answering and they were not convincing me for the complaint i raised

King-size room was very normal size room. During our visit a lot of renovation works were there. No proper restaurant for breakfast. Only the pool was good, but due weather my son couldn't enjoy it much. I chose this hotel after reading the review. But i got a bad experience and not worth.

The rooms were neat and tidy, but the breakfast variety could have been much better on a day to day basis, location was very good as it was close to the dubai mall, getting a taxi at busy hours (4-8pm) was hard.

The food was an excellent buffet and the service was great. The pool staff was very excellent, especially mr. Yasser and mr. Kishore were very nice and experienced. As for the room, it was good, but the tv was not good. It should be improved, but it remains very good. I recommend it.

The overall stay was good. The location is very good. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. The only thing bad is, rooms are in dire need of renovation. They are way too old.

Good view, spacious apartment, service was great, accessibility to the hotel was fabulous, right in the middle of downtown. Can see burj khalifa. Good pool and restaurants in the vicinity. Taxis are right down. Showers could be better, rest all super fabulous.

Location of the property is excellent. Just opposite to dubai mall and burj khalifa. Food is good and hotel staff are very polite.
