Great hotel with even better staff
Fab hotel with excellent staff. Definitely the best hotel in the area. Good rooms. Nice surroundings. Lovely food, drink and restaurant.
Excellent hotel, stay here as often as I can. Price doubled for the second night so had to move on unfortunately.
The mattresses were far too soft. It felt like sleeping in a hammock. When asked to swap rooms/beds there was no alternative. Premier Inns exceed them.

Unclean very disappointed
Very disappointing stay bar the breakfast Room was unclean brown stains on the wall in toilet ?? Windows had mould ..hairs on bathtoom floor and 1 complimentary tea bag and biscuit
Photos made the place look a lot nicer more of a corporate events hotel
Third time staying here and it was lovely and quite. Website was updated with flood information due to the bad whether. Only downside, usually you get a QR code for self check in but this time i never received mine.
No dinner reservations available at all, room unpleasantly hot, drunk golfers singing and chanting outside in middle of the night. Won't be back.
Nice place to stay, friendly staff
We stayed because it was our son’s wedding over the weekend so we thought we would go a little more upmarket for the weekend. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are all helpful and welcoming. The junior suits are perfect when getting ready for an event like a wedding, the extra room makes getting ready so much easier. It wasn’t the cleanest but a few stains on the carpet shouldn’t really take too much away from this place. The king size bed and huge and so comfortable too and the showers are decent too. The tv in the room is pretty poor, seemed only 5 channels work but all in all, it’s a nice enough place to stay, maybe a tad over priced but all in all decent enough.

A stop off on our way to Newmarket. Very happy with everything and enjoyed dinner at the Gravel Pit which exceeded expectations. Will definitely use the Waterfront again.
Had electrical problem in my room, which was a bit of a hindrance but staff was helpful & friendly
Hotel was modern. The restaurant was lovely for dinner and drinks. The bed sheet was stained. No air conditioning which I know was stated when booking but I did not expect the room to be as unbearably hot as it was. Staff were not helpful with trying to find solutions for this. We had to ask for an additional fan rather than be offered it. Seems strange that the hotel has computerised check in machines, robots in the restaurant but can’t afford air con. I thought the cost of the room was too much for how unbearably hot the room was. I will not return which is a shame as the restaurant was lovely.

No air conditioning small stand alone fan, windows that barely open.
Pleasant stay, nice location, we were unfortunate in that there was a lot of noise from spa; our room was ground floor and backed directly onto outside pool which was in use 8-late. Breakfast order was incorrect but quickly rectified, good food, nice views from restaurant onto lake. Would stay again but request quiet room next time!
