Very cozy, interesting interior. Suites very pleasant. Staff slow to respond to requests.

We stay there for a short one day trip before we were going to our cruise . The room was very ice. We had a few issues and due to the lack of communication with the person providing the service we did not get our tv in the room working at all , but he changed the light bulb and it took many phones calls and myself going to the reception twice to get trash cans for the room and bathroom. The people in the front office was very nice , just wish they got someone to translate the man who was trying to fix things in our room
Property was fine, nothing great or stood out about this place. The larger suites are nice if you are a family. The heating and cooling didn't seem to be working well. Couldn't get the room warm for a few days. Showers were great. Breakfast was lacking- powdered eggs were inedible. Staff was direct, not super welcoming besides the bar staff. They were great. Great location for warehouse district food options and conference center access. French Quarter was 10 min walk, it was nice to stay out of that busy area but able to walk. Few errors with the rooms we had reserved but staff worked with us to figure out a solution, so kudos to problem solving.
Overall, wouldn't stay here again, but if you're looking for larger rooms and good location this will meet your needs.
I forgot my razor and after seeing a mention in the room that advertised “call us if you fort anything”, I called the front desk. The attendant said “we don’t have any of that”.
My wife and I loved staying at the Mercantile in New Orleans.
Not a bad place, but the road noise was terrible; glad I had my ear buds. The mattress was thin and the bar was not open. It also took 20 min. for valet to bring our vehicle to us.
Staff were nice and it’s walkable to a lot of things to do.
I’ve stayed in NOLA 4 times and I would stay at the other hotels again, probably not this one though.
Very convenient for my needs, nice large room, great shower, very quiet.
The staff is not provided parking!😠 They had to park in the valet spots which, obviously makes it hard for guests to get in!

Staff is very helpful, attentive and courteous.
There were clear opportunities with cleanliness. The pillows were stained, there were holes in the curtains and the windows were covered with algae which made it hard to see the view. The bathroom was very clean.
This hotel is super charming! I loved my room. It was perfect!
Beautiful hotel will plan to stay here again.
