By far the most exceptional property in Kolding. We have stayed here 3 times now. We will be back again.

A complete disappointment
This was marketed as a place for a quiet stay. A great opportunity for some peace and quiet. Until it became a raucous wedding venue on our fourth night there. Considerable loss of amenity for other guests, no warning of it, loud music and voices until 2:15am. A conga line of complaining sleepless guests at the desk the next morning. A manager that went missing and left the reception staff to deal with it. Do not stay here. No concierge. No air conditioning in rooms. A fine dining restaurant that seemed to specialise in hamburgers. Great views.
It was amazing. Stay nice Hotel no problems whatsoever.
donald.partnerMay 07, 2024 Hotel Koldingfjord was fantastic, impressive, beautiful, peaceful, and more. I wish we spent more time here. I fell in love with Denmark in part because of Hotel Koldinfjord. I definitely want to return.
The hotel was going through some construction improvements, but it did not take away from or joy in being there. If anything, it will make our next visit even more enjoyable.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly! We ate the Prix fixe dinner in the dining room and it was Excellent! We highly recommend!
Great location, great property but lacking on staff attitude and food variation / quality
First off, I'm American. That said, it was an absolute delight to stay at this resort. The staff was extremely polite and the dining was incredible! More than anything, I loved being outside on the grounds and swimming in the fjord.
Absolutely fabulous property and location, surrounded by lush forest and right on the fjord. So peaceful and inviting, wish we could stay here much longer. Rooms in the annex were older but large and well appointed with updated bathrooms. Windows at ground level easy to crawl through but no issues while there. Outstanding breakfast buffet but very limited availability of food for lunch and dinner, unnecessarily difficult and expensive to get food there. Overall, a great place to get away.
A plus staff ,location and rooms. Only negative is our room didn't have air conditioning.
Amazing surroundings and spectaculaire building. It is a plesure to visit Fjord hotel and I will come back
The location of the hotel are really nice, right next to Koldingfjord.
The family room we had was very cosy and had a good size for a family of 4.
Breakfast buffet was very delicious.
I would definitely stay at this property when visiting Kolding. Although it is a pleasant walk away from the must-see Trapholt design museum, it is quite far from the city center. But the fact that it is rather remote is much of the hotel's appeal, as is its great view of the fjord. As an old sanatorium, it has the feel of a grand retreat surrounded by trees, water, and fresh air. Our room was clean and stylishly decorated with fashionable modernist furniture and accroutrements. The restaurant was quite good, especially for breakfast, and had a wonderful view. The waitstaff seemed a bit cold and indifferent, but the staff persons at the front desk were kind, patient, and helpful. A
