Had a lovely stay and the outside of this hotel is very pretty. Was having a big extension built and in the morning, we were woken up by someone doing pipe or elctrical work above our room, not best pleased at 8.15am in the morning. Aside from this, the satff were lovely and we had a beautful dinner in the hotel restaurant, home made schnitzel - was delicious. Only used as a stop hotel on our way tot he Stelvio Pass so location was perfect
Room lovely, large and modern, beautifully furnished. Breakfast top class, good choice of quality bread, meats, cereal, yoghurt etc. Lovely walk to Schiltach. Nice area. Nice bakery opposite.
On check in, we arrived very early. I just went to reception to let them know we arrived, not expecting to necessarily check in, and stated we were early, we knew. Still got told off by lady on reception, which was not necessary. Then the evening meal was disappointing, hard over cooked chips , my wifes fish had a tasteless sauce, very mediocre meal for the price. I had stayed at this hotel some 2 years ago, food then was good, but very average now. For B&B, this hotel is excellent. Just reconsider the evening meal.

One night is too short a stay..
e stopped at this hotel on our way home from touring on our motorbike in Italy and Austria. We planned to have two stops on our way back to the ferry and chose this hotel. The room was huge and very clean, our hostess was very welcoming and spoke very good English, just like all the staff we encountered. A beautiful place we would recommend to anyone.
Stayed 4 nights, it was brilliant. Room was lovely and well maintained and I loved the view every morning. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. As for the food it was so good we didn't even bother eating anywhere else. I would highly recommend staying there if your visiting the area.
We have found a gem! Wonderfully located in the heart of Schwartzwald with a good restaurant. Family owned since 1898! Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable, clean, well quite extraordinary! Highly recommended.

Fantastische kamer met balkon. Uitstekend ontbijt buffet. Menukaart kan wat uitgebreider.
Wie haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer groß, sauber und toll eingerichtet. Wir hatten Abendessen im Restaurant, und es war seeehhhrrr gut.
Zum Frühstück gab es Spiegelei mit Soeck, lecker. Wir werden bestimmt wieder dort übernachten.👍👍👍

miriam.partnerOct 24, 2022 Ich habe dieses Hotel gewählt, weil es dort vegane Essensoptionen gibt. Sogar beim Frühstück bekommt man auf Wunsch Pflanzenmilch statt Kuhmilch oder Margarine statt Butter. Sehr freundliches Personal!
