Waterfront Resort

Our first day in Pokhara we stayed at waterfront resort. From the airport it takes about 15-25 mins and the taxi fare was 500rs however you might be able to bargain for a bit less. In order to get to waterfront you have to cross lakeside and then up some hilly area and you are there. The resort has a beautiful view so ask for the lake view rooms. The Waterfront Resort staff were very nice as they changed our room to a different floor as a group of loud families moved in right beside us and we wanted some peace and quietness. The Waterfront Resort has a really nice pool which looks towards phewa lake and the mountains. Even though the Waterfront Resort is a bit away from all the restaurants and bars at lakeside, the Waterfront Resort provides free shuttle service and intervals so make sure you ask about it. But out of all we have to give a special shout out and thanks to a member of staff, Ms. Ranzana, who made our visit there memorable. She went out of her way to help us in anyway possible including arranging whatever we needed even out of her office hours. She was extremely proactive, listened to everything we said about what we wanted with a smile on her face at all times. The Waterfront Resort is very lucky to have a member of staff who is so passionate about her job and serving customers. A word of advice to anyone visiting waterfront, ask for her to arrange and recommend your outings or activities during your stay.

The best part of the Waterfront Resort is definitely the location. Right by the few a lake, your room balcony opens up to the pristine lake view and the mountains. Though the Waterfront Resort is old, staff is helpful and service is prompt. The breakfast buffet was limited, but we enjoyed the food in the teal n teal restaurant by the entrance which gives you the chance to enjoy your meal with a view of the lake. Mr. Jib-an who served us at teal n teal was super helpful, polite and great at his job, and the food prepared by chef hari was delicious. Especially enjoyed the pokhara chicken curry. Overall a good experience.

We are a group of 10 persons visit to pokhara in nepal 1st time. We stay in waterfront resort, pokhra. The experience of the said place is outstanding. Front office helpful and soft spoken know their work well. Rooms are very clean and neat. Room service personnel are nicely do their jobs. A very delicious food is the speciality of the house. Chef has a good team of cooks, service is excellent. Special name is prem sharma and team for service. We enjoyed a lot. We strongly recommend to visit here. I wish them a very prosperous future.

The Resort is about 6 km away from the Airport located on the banks on Phewa Lake giving a picturesque view of the Lake and the greenery around. Less crowded and a very peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean with free WiFi. The swimming pool is neatly maintained. The staff is friendly and the food too was delicious. The free shuttle service is very helpful. Overall a very nice experience in the Resort and would like to come back again for a peaceful stay.

Resort location is awesome. You will be like crazy in morning when you see fog at your 1st floor rooms and in front of that scenic view of phew a lake. It’s really good. Now coming back to rooms, those will you say it’s ok as property build in 2009 and rooms have some defects as well like bathtub was broken, no mini bar, rooms having very old age locks. But overall i ignored these as i was there to travel more and less stay in rooms. Food is actually very good in taste.

I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hospitality is great. I traveled solo and met with an accident but the staff was so great that they helped me to see a doctor and made sure i don’t feel uncomfortable. They also planned a surprise cake for me so i enter my bday with good memories instead of ending year with an accident. It’s a great gesture that i will remember throughout my life. Thanks waterfront team for making my stay so memorable.

Excellent hospitality and good staff. Room is excellent and stay was memorable in Waterfront Resort. However restaurant menu should be improved further to suit all customers from different places. For eg youghart is too sweet and so is peas pulav. Yoghurt should be plain without any sugar coated to suit diabetic customers. It is better to inform the customer prior to serving of meal but not after serving the sweet dishes.

Location of the Waterfront Resort is very good, rooms are really good size and very clean. Food is very good and vast variety. Staff is very supportive. I forgot my passport in Waterfront Resort and after reaching airport I got to know about it. Then I called the Waterfront Resort and the manager and everyone was so supportive that the send a person with my passport in 15 minutes.

We had a nice stay at Waterfront Resorts, we stayed there for 2 nights. This is one of the best property in Pokhara, which is situated on the lakeside. Their staff is extremely nice and supportive. Really thankful to their relationship manager Alisha Joshi, who did some additional efforts to make our stay comfortable. Food is bit on the higher Side but it's totally Worth it.

One of the best places at pokhara to enjoy the nature with lake in front and cable cart behind. Good was good enough for indians and we had a heavy breakfast which sustained us till late evening. Quality of service, room maintenance was good and the service at restaurent was exceptional. A worth to stay and a value for money in the month of january 2024.

We stayed at KGH, Kathmandu for three days in all, two days in the first instance and then again for a day after returning from Pokhara. We were all very happy and satisfy with the Waterfront Resort's great location in Thamel area, excellent food and service and very helpful staff. Happy to recommend the Waterfront Resort to visitors in Kathmandu

Every thing is superb. Only one issue rooms are not sound proof. If some one talks in corridor or in the lobby or music is on other room u may get irritated

Amazing lake side property with lake access. The staff is good. Snacks are good with amazing food options. The overall Waterfront Resort ambience is really good with lot of greenery, photo places and amazing service. The restaurant at the entrance top is really amazing with exceptional staff with so much empathy and care. Overall loved it

Resort is located at back side of phew a lake. It's beautiful and breakfast also good. Swimming pool with mountain view is awesome and rooms are big and we'll decorated.

Wonderful locale, great place to relax and unwind. The staff was very cooperative and friendly. Perfect location, wonderful scenic view from the balcony. Yummy indian food and excellent chefs. Highly recommended.
