It is extremely modern and it looks out over the ocean. Just beautiful without the hectic pace of downtown.

peyman.partnerOct 13, 2024 Their steam, indoor pool and sauna was out of service the entire time we stayed there. They gave us free parking instead. Staff was very friendly however.
Had high expectations from this property and they did not live up to it. We were there for three nights and our rooms AC could not cool the room. They gave us two fans to help us sleep. They could not help us with this issue. Also we had a breakfast plan which gave you a choice of buffet and or ala carte . We were sitted down but did not get cofee served for 40 minutes for two of these days. We therefore could only eat at the buffet as breakfast was closing in twenty mins. We felt they had no regards for guest experience. Disappointing for sure.

Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff,room and restaurant were great.
The only downside is the access to the beach where you have to walk a ways and through the train stop to reach a nice beach.
The staff was a big highlight and we loved our room.
The service at breakfast was non-existent! Staff were often rude or ignored us when we tried to order hot drinks. Breakfast buffet was appalling…
Barely any food, and the fruit wasn’t fresh.
Was a beautiful place with a very nice warm pool indoors at the spa.

The Intercontinental was truly an upper class place. Views, pool, Amazing breakfast overlooking the water, and very attentive staff. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Great modern hotel maze in Cascais
Very modern hotel with various quirks and features. Navigating the hallways and sliding double doors was a bit weird but besides that it was a great hotel.
Service is above Portugal average but still very below world wide standards.
Great for kids, indoor pool offset the cooler weather. Superb views of the ocean from room and restaurant. Easy and pleasant walk to Cascais
aldo j.partnerJan 06, 2024 5 star accommodations and service. Excellent breakfast. We ate at the restaurant for the special new year's eve dinner - it was excellent. We did not try the regular menu. Neighborhood is superb - 10 min walk to the center of Cascais on the walkway by the ocean.
Easy uber (25-30 min) or train (45 min) into Lisbon.
Train runs in front of the hotel, however, despite being on the second floor, the soundproofing was outstanding - could not hear the trains pass.
Rooms are updated and well appointed.
Will definitely stay here again when returning to Lisbon.
Very nice location, excellent facilities. We were originally concerned about the train tracks but it was no issue whatsoever, and our room was at the end next to the train station. Don’t let that deter you.

The staff is conscientious and go out of their way to assist and anticipate your needs. The location is divine and the rooms are very comfortable. The ocean views and breeze are the cherry on top!
