Traveller Impressions

Radisson Kandy is a comfortable property with courteous staff and good amenities. The rooftop bar offers live music and a beautiful view. The location is excellent, but difficult to reach. The breakfast and dinner at the dining hall are tasty with a variety of dishes. The rooftop restaurants have a good variety of dishes with a swimming pool and a view of the skyline. Radisson kandy location is awesome and partial lake view adds glitter. And also located on hill top gives stunning view of the mountain range. One can see ancient buddha’s tooth temple view. Breakfast was very good well spread out. Since indian travellers contribute a chunk of their customer profile, radisson must add indian breakfast items ( like poha, upma, dosas, sheera )and some main courses. By training their chefs, because international travelers do like indian cuisine as part of their diet

It’s upwards of the lake so it’s nice and cosy and u can walk down towards the lake and walk in the morning and evenings. They have an in house restaurant but we found options limited. Close by there is a wood fire pizza place. Otherwise Radisson Hotel Kandy is 1km approx from market area with Radisson Hotel Kandys etc. Spa was just opened when we visited in feb 23 so it was not available for bookings.

It's a good Radisson Hotel Kandy with a very courteous staff. Housekeeping is very efficient. The only drawback we could find was in the limitation of vegetarian items in the breakfast. Almost the same menu was repeated the next day. You can overview the lake from your room as well as restaurant. Quite peaceful location one pizza restaurant is nearby n it serves authentic food

We got upgraded to a lake view room which had a tiny sit-out balcony. Nice place to have a drink and see the night lights of Kandy. The rooms are perfectly clean and spacious. The restaurant staff need to improve a bit with their communication, rest all is good.
