Nice staff, good breakfast, I did not expect that much regarding the spa, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Older style on the rooms, if you live in the annex it was about 100 meters away from the hotel. No drama for me though, but it could be for guest with a lot of baggage. Plenty of parking at the main hotel and by the annex. Air-condition had a nice temperature and also a low noise level. Only down side for us as a couple who likes to snuggle ;) we didn't enjoy twin beds, we would have preferred at least a queen size bed. The gap in the middle is a bit annoying.
For being a 4-star hotel ,the quality was pretty basic. Payed a lot of money for a room that had views of just some stones. One of the most unfortunate thing was that they never cleaned the room. The fridge was very old and dirty so we never wanted to use it.
It was nice that they had free spa but because of corona they had limited amount of people that could enter the pools so when a whole family occupied the pools we had to wait...
Overall the stay was okay!

A good spa on the brink of the ocean is always a good combo and on this occasion we had the pleasure to enjoy the first storm of the season from a safe and very comfortable vista point. Having a full storm in sight while enjoying a first class dinner was great.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and Smogens itself was pretty (if quiet when we were there - just off season!). The food at the hotel restaurant was enjoyable, but our highlight was the small pool, hot tub and sauna - perfect for unwinding.
We stayed in the Annex - the room was absolutely fine, but the building is a few hundred metres from the main hotel. I'd recommend staying in the main body of the hotel if possible.
Great pool, jacuzzi & spa
Great place to stay while visiting the West Coast of Sweden. You can walk out to the cliffs from the hotel ... or borrow a bike to go down to the center of Smögen to shop, dine, or go sight seeing.
Trevligt hotell, god middag och bra frukost.
Men sängarna var inte bekväma, de var nedlegade, och kändes slitna. Behöver definitivt uppdateras.
Trevliga gemensamhets utrymmen där man kunde sitta och prata.
Nöjd maten och personal är super bra.
Härlig spahelg på västkusten
ann-charlott.Nov 17, 2024 Jättefint spa, som vi är väldigt nöjda med. Frukosten fantastisk och utöver det vanliga - mycket läckert och dessutom lugnt i matsalen.
Maten på kvällen helt ok, men inte anmärkningsvärt bra och serveringspersonalen rätt rörig. De hade svårt att få ut mat och dryck på ett bra sätt och kunde inte hålla ordning på våra beställningar och inte heller på vad vi betalat och att vi betalat för vår dryck t ex. Detta upprepades två kvällar i rad och något man nog därför bör ta tag i på Hafsbadet.
Fick tyvärr en seg köttbit till middagen, men bytte sedan till fisk vilken var väl tillagad. Lagom med folk i bubbelpoolen vilket kändes bra.
Vårt rum var väldigt slitet.

Trevlig personal, fint spa, otroligt bra middag och frukost. Toppen boende, kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Hotellet i sig är bra. Spaavdelning jättebra. Behandlingar mycket bra. Frukost jättebra. Jättefina vandringsmöjligheter på klippor precis i närheten och badmöjligheter. Restaurangen däremot är under all kritik. Framförallt mycket dålig service och maten är medioker och smaklös. Blev inte ens tillfrågade om vi ville beställa dessert eller om vi tyckte det smakade bra. Ät inte där ! Städning av rummet måste man beställa om det ska bli gjort. Märkligt upplägg.
Svampmackan som vi åt under kvällen gick knappt att skära i eller tugga och smakade endast salt. Piggvaren smakade ingenting, men väldigt god potatis. Spaupplevelsen var sisådär… väldigt smutsiga pooler, låg både snusprillor vid kanterna och mycket insekter. Inte alls trevligt.

Oanständigt dyr parkeringsavgift. Motsvarande hotell har oftast gratis parkering. Max har varit 125 kronor per dygn.
