Sawaddi Patong Resort

Read quite a few reviews of Sawaddi Patong Resorts in the area before booking Sawaddi. Giving it a 5 star rating despite reading some negative comments earlier. Our check-in was a breeze. We had arrived around 2 PM. The room was neat and clean and well made. Only wish it was a pool facing room, instead of the construction site that we had to look at. Curtains do the trick. Bed is really comfy. The bathroom was neat and had no leaks, AC worked. TV has only limited channels but who watches TV when in Phuket. We never got to use the pool or the bar at the Sawaddi Patong Resort but there were always guests around both areas. Hotel is located a little over 1 kilometer from the famed bangla road. I suggest a walk. TukTuk and taxi's are an absolute rip off. There is a 711 store nearby if you want to buy drinking water and essentials. The two free bottles provided by the Sawaddi Patong Resort wont be enough. Breakfast is served between 6:30 am and 10:30 am. This is good, because you can finish your breakfast in time for your pick-up to phi phi/krabi, which usually arrives around 7:00 to 8:00 AM. Checking out was equally easy. We had to check out at 7 AM. They charged for the extra bottles we had taken. Nothing more, nothing less. A taxi that was arranged by the Sawaddi Patong Resort was already waiting to take us back to the airport. Overall a great experience at Sawaddi Patong resort. Highly recommended.

I had a 10 day stay in the Sawaddi Patong Resort. Hotel is nice and around 15 min walk to the beach and to bangla road. Restaurant , laundry and 7/11 near by! Breakfast is the same every day. They only cleaned my room after 3pm even though I had the „ make my room „ sign on! They try to charge for everything extra .. I had a little stain on the towel they tried to charge 200 dhs , I washed it myself and it cost me 20baht .. I tried to stay an hour longer and they wanted to charge 300 baht . I am a frequent traveler and I travel atleast 2-3 times a month so being charged for a stain on a hand towel was something new for me. The people at the reception could be a bit friendlier . I came to Thailand more than 71 times and most of the times it was never an issue to stay an hour longer and I was never charged . Sometimes it was even a cheaper Sawaddi Patong Resort than Sawaddi. Overall had a good stay tho, considering that most of the time I am outside the facilities. Gym is small but sufficient however AC didn’t work. I couldn’t stay longer than 15 min in there as with 3 people in there it became too hot. Would I stay again ? Yes maybe!

The Hotel is very nice, the rooms are great, the food in the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant has really good choice of menu, but as always there’s always a scope of improvement. I really wish the Sawaddi Patong Resort a best luck, and request the owners to keep its hospitality intact and the also the good work. There’s no place that I can put my finger as a bad one or that I am not satisfied. My wife is a not an ardent wife fish enthusiast, and is very choosy about the smell of the fish, more particularly about the shrimps, we went to many places for food across Phuket, but the shrimp what we found in Sawaddi Patong Restaurant was simply amazing. Keep up the good work.

The rooms we got were very good, well maintained. Only thing, there were ants in the cupboard, which did not go during our stay for three days. The breakfast buffet was superb, with lottsa choices. Bed was super large and comfortable. WiFi speed was just wonderful. Shuttle service which they provide to nearby areas runs 4times a day, that too at specific times. So we could not use that service. Hotel is walking distance to the night market, Patong Beach and bangla Road, many indian restaurants are nearby, which made our stay even more pleasant. Really happy that we booked this one.

Reading various reviews, one gets a mixed bag view of this property. But the staff, property and facilities were amazing. Staff at check in were very polite and best was the boy who carried my luggage, always smiling and spreading pleasant environment. Missed his name to mention. Huge property and well maintained. 2 pools and also well maintained. Though timing is there, one can use post timing too at own risk. Breakfast had limited choices for indian vegetarians, but amazing spread otherwise. Live egg counter lady remembered my choice the next day- was a pleasant surprise.

We stayed at this resort for 3 nights and had a good time. The place is near the patong beach and the market area (10 mins walking distance). The rooms are a little smaller than expected but are comfortable. We ordered dine in at the resort and noticed that there are no vegetarian menu available although they made a Margherita pizza for us 🙂. The pool is also awesome and has good music running during evening time. They only thing that I didn't like was the receptionist or the overall service it felt a little rude, aapart from that it's a good place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights, Sawaddi Patong Resort is just 15 minutes walk to Patong Beach and Bangla street. Seven Eleven Shop just 5 minutes walk from the Sawaddi Patong Resort. The head chef is an Indian and on the last evening we discovered that the Indian food is fantastic vegetarian and Non vegetarian. A little expensive but the taste was awesome better than all the restaurants that we had lunch and dinner for 2 days. Swimming pool, dvd library, bar and buffet breakfast was good too. I would definitely stay again.

This resort is approx 1km from patong street and beach. The rooms are quiet comfortable at this price range. The breakfast options are limited though. But there are many eateries near by this resort. They asked for 2000baht deposit when we checked, later after negotiation we gave 1000 baht. You may eat in the cafe of the resort and the amount will be deducted from the deposit. The remaining amount is paid back during checkout. There are 2 big swimming pools in the resort. Overall a nice and pleasant stay.

Nice Sawaddi Patong Resort. Airport transfer service was the main motto in choosing the Sawaddi Patong Resort. Lot of travelers checking in at the same time so took time getting the room. Somehow two rooms were booked in my room, on presentation of my reservation receipt the problem got solved. Room was good, however floors were scratchy, food was sumptuous paid extra. Check out was smooth. Would recommend to someone who would like to stay opposite the airport.

The Sawaddi Patong Resort is good and we got a decent deal through MakeMyTrip. However, it is a good 15-20 minutes walk to Patong Beach, contrary to as stated in other travel reviews. Bangla Road walking street is about 10-12 minutes walk. Overall, it is a good property with courteous staff and standard facilities. Breakfast buffet has limited options. I would recommend this Sawaddi Patong Resort for a budget vacation.

I stayed there for 3 days, travelled as a couple. The pool view room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent, contain many varieties. I liked the Indian food and different menu each day makes it a perfect place for stay. Location is little bit far from Bangladesh Street and patong beach. It took 15 minutes for us to reach Beach. Overall, an excellent place. I recommend it for family as well as couple.

The property seems new and we'll maintained, is at 10 mins walk from patong beach, away from noise. The property is located in lively area with a 7-11 store nearby. Food options are limited but fresh and good in quality. However, not much options were there for indian vegetarians (a veg curry was there which didn't look good). Absolutely recommended if veg food isn't an absolute necessity.

Hotel is very clean, good location and friendly staff

Nice location, spacious room, good staff, value for money, fast WiFi, comfortable bed. Hotel provides free bus from Sawaddi Patong Resort to beaches, night market areas. Only thing is that we had to walk for 2 km for Indian veg restaurants.

The Sawaddi Patong Resort was too exilent. And breakfast is very good and Sawaddi Patong Resort staff is very coprative and lovely sevice. Room is very clean. Swimming pool is very good.

4-star Sawaddi Patong Resort in a not so busy street. 10 mins walk to walking street and madras cafe. Delicious Indian food is available but a bit pricey. To summarise, a good Sawaddi Patong Resort on a medium-range budget close to most happening places in Patong.

Fantastic location and nice Sawaddi Patong Resort with pool bar. Room is very spacious it has drawing room separate with the room, so you get two rooms actually both the rooms are very spacious and interior was marvelous. Food is very good they also serve Indian food in the breakfast.

It is budget Sawaddi Patong Resort with all required amenities. Did not had breakfast, location is 5-10 mins away from other Sawaddi Patong Resorts which are nearer to beach.
Reception staff was not so much cooperative. They were bit of rude.

Property was very good and well maintained.

Apart from Hotel, I want to special mention about the receptionist, Ms. Jintina, a very helpful and kind lady. Helped us in providing our rooms before check in time and also arranged our taxi for Krabi at a very economical price. I would recommend this Sawaddi Patong Resort to everyone as its location, cleanliness and friendly staff and also the food is excellent as we were vegetarian.

Location is comfortable 1km from Patong beach. Very good service and hospitality. They go out of their way to accommodate the guests. Very clean, spacious and well maintained rooms, even the city view was nice.

Courteous staff, nice breakfast, nice room with good washroom and pool view. Walking distance to Bangla walking street. Strongly recommended.

We were on honeymoon. The Resort was awesome as we expected. The services were also good. Facilities at pool were also nice. Everyday you will wake up to delicious breakfast. Strongly recommended for indians or in fact people across the globe. Our flight was early so they provided us packed breakfast even. Thanku so much Sawaddi paying Resort. You people were simply amazing.

Well, if I see the price and 4 star of Sawaddi Patong Resort the services were up there, but there are few things that should be improved!

The Hotel was clean and very comfortable. The staff was responsive when we needed. The breakfast was superb and pool was pretty good too . Overall happy with the stay here . It's decently close to the paying beach and all the food joints.
