Great staff. Lovely room. Close to train.
The Rookery is a real home away from home. Staff are always lovely and very kind. Rooms are all beautiful and filled with character. Completely unique.
This property isn't for everyone; there's no elevator and there was only a shower tub. It's an old building so the floor above squeaked.
That being said, the staff is amazingly friendly; very clean; very convenient to the tube; honor drink bar in library; and nice cat Bagheera.

The hotel is comfortable and located nicely near Farringdon station and some fun shops. It is historic and probably more suited for leisure travel than my business trip. Regardless, I was very impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff.

Would like to have seen a in room coffee machine but other than that it was perfect.
Breakfast was very well presented and good quality.

Conveniently located close to a tube station with some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.
This was my second stay at The Rookery, The entire place, rooms included are beautiful. The room service and food were was very good. The staff were excellent! We had a cell phone and credit card issue and had to tie their desk phone up for awhile. They could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. This is a quiet neighborhood with the underground very close by which is great. I highly recommend Thr Rookery!
The hotel and staff were first class . Quiet room considering how central hotel is. Beautiful decor throughout and a cool haven of class and tranquility during a hot weather visit to London. Perfect location for train station & breakfasts fabulous- can’t fault anything - will be back !

I truly felt like I stepped back into the 18th century with modern amenities. Beautiful property with kind and accommodating staff and a cute cat ready for pats.
Restored London townhome in Georgian style. So beautifully done. My room was upgraded to a suite. It was so special.
The staff at the Rookery were wonderful! They were personable, professional and extremely helpful. My first room was on the top floor, and many flights up stairs. I was already exhausted and in pain from a tour I had been on, and just could not deal with more steps. The staff were amazing and were able to switch my room to the 1st floor. The hotel location in an up and coming area of London is interesting and convenient to many interesting sites south of the Thames, as well as Heathrow. I love the ambiance of the hotel and room comfort, but having only a clawfoot tub in the bathroom was a challenge.
The room was immaculate and this applies to throughout the hotel. A wonderful experience, this charming hotel is a London attraction in itself.

Away from the hustle and large number of people
This is a charming hotel, although it feels a bit tired. Room was overly warm and could not cool it down, even though it was not hot outside. Bathroom lacked outlets. Breakfast menu was uninspiring. Location is good with easy access to transportation. Area is a bit dead on the weekends but during the week there are multiple restaurant choices close by.
