I had a comfortable stay at novotel hauptbahnof vienna. The staff at the reception was very friendly and always ready to help. The location of the hotel was excellent with the main train station very nearby. It had many stores for shopping and many food options.
Nice property, clean property, excellent location with good connectivity, only drawback is the communication from the room to the reception as there are no phones in the room. All kinds of food available near by. Worth a stay for sure.

The room does not even have an intercom. The front desk staff is rude. No one responds on the qr code given in the room for contact. When you call yourselves a 4 star hotel, some basic minimum is supposed to be maintained. It feels more like a hostel, than a hotel. Wouldn't recommend.

A good hotel with great staff. They were quite helpful with everything that was required. The location is perfect with just a minute walk to the station. Be mindful that the rooms are quite small for our liking but i think everything was just perfect. The restaurant isn’t much to speak about. Netflix or amazon would have been a plus point as all channels were local so there wasn’t much we could do with the tv in the room. View from the room

The location is great just opposite the main train station. Easy access to underground metro and trams also. Lots of restaurants and shopping available around and in the station about 3 tram stops away from stephansplatz. Hotel staff were courteous and kind. Room was clean and spacious and well maintained. There are direct trains from airport to the hauptbahnhof (station) so good connectivity for out station trains and for taking flights.

Best location if you want good connectivity, it’s walking distance from the main railway station, the place itself is not very lively but if you can adapt to travel-ling through subway or metro, train and tram you can reach any place in minutes, room was spacious as it was a family room, breakfast was good but expensive, staff is cooperative. Overall i like it because of its location.

Hotel was good but far from city centre. Room did not had intercom / phone in the room. Also i was asking for adapter to connect for europe points as my laptop was with indian pin. But hotel asked me to buy from them instead of providing temporarily.

Best part of the hotel is it's location. Being location just outside the main train station offers to superb connectivity to rest of the country/europe/airport and access to various restaurants/food courts/super market. City centre is well connected through metro and tram. Kids area is an added advantage. Room service can improve. At times, we had to call up for service almost 3 times. Restaurant menu is limited. Breakfast options are adequate but offer scope for improvement.
Best is the location. Walking distance to the main central railway Station. Near to good food joints. Metro very near connectivity to the City centre 5 minutes.

I would recommend this hotel because of proximity to Vienna Central Station, that makes commuting very easy. Besides I loved hotel ambience and breakfast. Staffs were very friendly. Overall I made right decision by choosing this hotel.

It was perfect for 3 people and the room was clean. No issues. The family suite was perfect for 3 people.
