Friendly staff, great location near cafes and restaurants as well as a view of the mountains.
The place was in close walking distance to the bus and to the city center. The rushing creek ran along side my room. It was very calming. The breakfast was fine but the breakfast room was really lovely!
The staff especially Alex and his afternoon associate were quite helpful. They even printed my bus tickets and allowed us to stay a little later so we could be out of the rain while waiting for our bus departure. They honored our request for a room with a view and boy did they deliver! It would be nice to have coffee in the room. 😀
The building was so out dated.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved that the river is so close that the sound puts you to sleep. The hotel is super convenient and close to everything!

The property has a certain problem with the walls which took away from the experience. Though the owner was nice and the view from the balcony inspiring. I would return to Chamonix.

We had a lovely stay in La Vallee Blanche. It was perfect for a few nights. The hotel is clean and comfortable and in a great position right in the centre of town. There is no parking but plenty of place to park in the town. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice staff but the property is very dated and pub downstairs constantly closed (which may not be a problem). Very convenient to the centre of Chamonix but no onsite parking and ski storage is very small.

Stayed at the La Vallee Blanche hotel for a few days recently. Hotel has some charm and was warm and cozy. The walls are tired with flaking stucco and the curtains in our room were very faded and dusty. The location is handy as long as you don't have a car. The staff we encountered varied from very helpful and friendly to not so much. Breakfast was average and the price was good by comparison. We paid $300 a night so the "Motel 6" quality was a little shocking.
