Loved the place. Nice staff. Great location.

The rooms are tiny, but the charm and staff make up for it! Literally a 5 minute stroll to Oktoberfest and the subway was half a block away! The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is friendly and very helpful!

The personnel at the Lizz Hotel is exceptional- kind and responsive to every need. The breakfast was excellent, even providing gluten-free options for my dietary restriction. We would definitely stay at the Lizz again.

Great location to visit the Tollwut Festival. Very easy after hours check in. Quiet location facing away from the street. Very close to subway. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for the purpose of Oktoberfest. The location was phenomenal for this. The hotel was quaint and clean, staff was friendly. Location to the underground (subway) was perfect. One suggestion I would have is for the hotel to email instructions in advance on how to enter and obtain your access (key) to the property of its after 7pm. I traveled internationally and my phone would not cooperate the first few hours Iarrived to Germany. We found the hotel, but it was locked. Luckily another couple entered the hotel and allowed us to use their phone. Instructions should be sent in advance. My other complaint was based on comfort. The beds are very hard and the pillows have no support. I expected more comfort based on the price. There is no elevator (at least from what I'm aware), so if you're injured or have difficulty going up stairs, then you may want to reconsider. The hotel is more EU traveler friendly, not so much international traveler friendly when comparing to other hotels we've stayed at in Europe. I suppose nuisances like this are personal preference. The review probably seems more like complaints, than not. The review is based on things I would liked to have known when making my decision.

This is not a typical hotel. It doesn’t have air conditioning, and elevator. They provide a fan. I carried ly luggages to the third floor. If I know this I will not book this hotel. Overall the service is nice.
Great boutique hotel.

The service was very personable and outstanding. It was a bit difficult to find the parking for the hotel but it was in a great location just outside of the Munich city center. It was walking distance to most attractions and necessities. I was there for one night on business travel and found the it very enjoyable.

Lizz Hotel is a charming little hotel in a relatively nice neighborhood in Munich. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe there. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast, amazing, but most importantly, was the staff. Lizz the owner was really kind and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome…and the rest of her staff…just totally sweet women. Stay here, it’s a treat!
Lizz Hotel - perfect stay for a party of 2!

The Lizz Munich was the perfect stay for a 3 day tour of Munich. Vivian at reception was an amazing host and very helpful as we did not speak much German, all of the staff made us feel welcome and took care of every need we had. There is not a lift to the rooms, however the stairwell is wide and the staff carried our bags to and from the room and the exit. Incredible water pressure in the showers, adequate sized bathrooms for a boutique hotel. The bed was low to the ground but the mattress is very comfortable, most of the rooms along our tour of Europe were rather hard and these were perfect. The location is set back a bit so you cannot hear much noise from the busy streets. I did not hear any other guests during our stay. We were treated with a free beer upon arrival and enjoyed our complimentary coffee on the rooftop terrace restaurant in the morning. I could not have pictured a better experience in Munich.

This is the perfect place if you want to explore Munich on foot (e.g Theresienwiese) or with public transportation and have a reasonably priced accommodation. It's a local small hotel in the middle of town with a very friendly, helpful staff. The room and bathroom were very clean and just what I needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good and some dishes were especially prepared for guests due to Covid safety.

Lizz hotel staff were all very kind and welcoming, doing their best to give us a wonderful stay. Breakfast for 10 Euros each was delicious and a great start to our day. No problems communicating using English or my rough German. :) Everything was clean, warm, and inviting. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Very good location just 1 min from the metro. Comfortable bed and great hot shower (needed given how cold it was in Munich at this time). Staff were very friendly.

Fabulous Hotel - Run Really Well!

This is a great place in a cool neighborhood with lots of local restaurants (all types of food), a supermarket and phenomenal access to transportation, as it's right across the street from the Goetheplatz U Bahn station. Most important, it is run by a wonderful person, Lizz. She is awesome, "ausgezeichnet" and all of the other cool adjectives that apply. I was there as the Covid-19 restrictions started and she adjusted things on my behalf and did it with kindness, professionalism and humor. The room was clean, comfortable and the WiFi worked great. One note is that the building is offset from the street, so look for it when you see the Volvo sign and driveway on Lindwurmstrasse. Again, this is a great spot and, for those going to Oktoberfest, close to the Wies'n.

Lovely little boutique hotel, very modern, clean, comfortable. Walking distance to public transport and Marianplatz. No frills, but all basic needs are covered. The staff are wonderful and very friendly, make you feel right at home.

The Lizz Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was outstanding!! I would highly recommend it. The location is very good; it is a 15 minute walk to Marienplatz and it is in an area with lots of shops and restaurants, yet it is off of the street just a bit (it's a bit hard to find for that reason) and surprisingly quiet for the location. There is no elevator, so walking up is the only option, but the staff was very helpful and insisted on carrying our luggage. The parking lot is small and a bit difficult to negotiate, but that is true of most inner city hotels in Europe. Overall it is an excellent value.
