Aston Sunset Beach Resort

I can write a whole article about this incredible place. Just to cut it short, the hospitality is just the best I have found anywhere till now. Plus its pocket friendly. The resort is located right in front of the beach, where u can go and see. The most picturesque sunset with the perfect hospitality served while you are enjoying the sunset. One can stay behind and savor their distinctive menu for dinner on the beach (must try for couple, Its romantic to another level). Enjoy the pool with an open bar, where bar-tender Ali will serve you enthusiastically & suggest you the best food & drink combinations. Breakfast, is amazing, the variety offered is commendable. There was a minor problem with the AC in the room, & the Aston Sunset Beach Resort team took it heads on to repair it, as they could not fix it, they upgraded us to their exclusive lavish villa (its something that I will remember for a long time). Moreover, if you want to explore the Island, its FREE of cost. The resort offers free bicycles to go around the Island. Gili T. is safe to travel at anytime of the night even from the narrow roads. For Scuba or Snorkeling go to Blue Marline for a superb experience. Whether you are staying solo, couple, with friends or family, this place is a complete package. GO for it!!

The resort is very good and you would find a lot of Indian travellers out here in this resort who are there for their honeymoon. The food is good but would have preferred if there was some change in breakfast varieties. Also the Aston Sunset Beach Resort is quite far from the harbour and is on the other side of the island, hence travelling from the harbour to the Aston Sunset Beach Resort is difficult and not is about 3 km. The harbour is the happening place on the island and one should rather prefer to stay next to the harbour I feel. That said the Aston Sunset Beach Resort is superb. The views are superb. Private beach and also they have movies every night on the beach with dinner as well. It was an amazing experience. Would recommend people staying here if they have come to the place to move away from the hustle of city life. The harbour is more of a party place.

Aston as a resort was excellent by location in front of the beach, as Gili trawangan is a small island with poor quality roads and dirtiness but Aston was very well maintained. Rooms are exceptionally clean, welcome drink and cake was present throughout the day, food included some Asian delights with non Asian taste. Except swimming pool and evening hollywood movie there was no other activities in the resort, staying in a very small island without any activity is a difficult task. Swimming can’t be considered as activity as the islands main attraction is diving, scuba and snorkel. Aston is a good place for honeymoon couple but not for more then 2 days. Resort should have included more activities and at least one or two authentic Indian dishes as this resort was dominated by more no of Indians compared to other resorts in the island.

One of the nice large Aston Sunset Beach Resorts on the western side of the island. The room that we stayed was at the very back and gave the feeling of living in a society house. The room very neat and clean. The bathroom was large but no bathtubs. The pool area in the resort is very nice and we would have liked pool side room. The Aston Sunset Beach Resort's restaurant is front of the Aston Sunset Beach Resort on the private beach and it was fantastic to have breakfast there sitting by the beach overlooking the blue waters. The breakfast reasonably good but not great. Hotel provides free cycles which is very good. The only negative is that it is quite far from the happening party places so if you can't cycle you have spend 150K each side for the horse carriage.

This resort is one of the best on the west coast side of Gili T. A lot of Indian travelers- family and couple stay here and the management takes care of vegetarian food preferences of Indians. The resort has a private beach which host an open theater screening of movie every night on the beach. You can enjoy the amazing sunset view though resort's private beach sitting on beanbags and sipping an ice cold beer or cocktails. The pool is very good and big and has a poolside submerged bar included if you want to enjoy the swim with a couple of drinks. Cycles and horse cart are the only mode of transport through the island and resort provides free bikes bases on availability for roaming around the island.

We stayed there for 3 nights, in the villa with private pool. The villas were clean and well maintained. They even served a fruit platter complimentary. What they did thoughtfully was to have a water dispenser/filter at all the villas. So no need to buy packaged water during the stay. They had a little counter for evening refreshments with ice tea and cakes which used to be of great help after a bath or outside activities. We need not to mention about the romantic outdoor screening of movies they did. Absolutely marvelous. The best part though was the great environment the resort have maintained with their staff and cleanliness. A super 5 star for them.

We went to Gilli thinking that it’s just an island what would be there to do and don’t know how the stay will be...but to our surprise the place in beautiful and our stay was excellent, we got little late for check-in so when we reached there the room was not ready, to our surprise they upgraded the room, they have private beach entrance and the view was mesmerizing, we stayed there for 3 days and literally wished we could have stayed for more, food was yummy and they have huge variety in breakfast, and I’d you are an Indian who is searching for vegetarian food then this is the place for you, menu is restricted but taste is nice.

I stayed for 3 nights at Aston, private villa with swimming pool. As rightly called the “Happy Island�, our stay in Aston Aston Sunset Beach Resort and Gili trawangan was absolutely fabulous. The Aston Sunset Beach Resort staff was super nice and helpful. The villa was very beautiful and nicely maintained. The morning buffet at Aston Sunset Beach Resort is definitely worth the money and in general the food at the sunset bar was delicious. Do go for scuba diving with Lombok dive.

We stayed in Aston for 4 days and it was simply wonderful. The property is well maintained, rooms are very clean, staff is courteous. Breakfast buffet had a great variety - the desserts especially were delectable. The best experience at the Aston Sunset Beach Resort are the movies they play by the beach after sunset. Great vibe to the place. Best stay in Gili, if you are looking for a quiet getaway and don't want to party.

I stayed here for 3 nights, resort is amazing and staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are good and washrooms are also big. Food is great and you can enjoy sunset from their restaurant and watch open air movie every evening. Everything good just one thing that its a little from the port and the night market, you can cycle to the market in 15 minutes or take a horse cart which 150k id r one side. Enjoyed my stay here.

Don’t forget to get massage y uni at the aston sunset beach resort. It was an amazing experience and worth the price. The resort is also well located having the best beach view and the pool villa rooms are excellent. The breakfast in the morning is awesome and all other staff are also courteous. I would recommend this Aston Sunset Beach Resort for a definite stay at gili.

Loved the location and the Aston Sunset Beach Resort is with all the good amenities... The open air Resto is amazing.. Will surely recommend the Aston Sunset Beach Resort. Nicely managed and with great Aston Sunset Beach Resort staff providing all the amenities... Lovely hidden island for couple.. Can plan a 15 days trip.

One of the finest Aston Sunset Beach Resort on the Island Its exactly opposite from the Port but its Worth travelling

The only issue with this place is the transportation is very high & Aston Sunset Beach Resort doesn't provide free pick up & drop. Rest all is good. You should stay for a minimum of 3 days to enjoy properly. Loved it completely.

Hotel is at Beach Side and has better service as compared to other Aston Sunset Beach Resorts nearby. You will find more people in Aston villa as compared to other nearby Aston Sunset Beach Resort

Wonderful resort with all the amenities, very courteous staff. Movies at night by the beach side, free bicycles, however food options for vegetarians are very less.

The stay was great and the Aston Sunset Beach Resort had a great vibe. Good breakfast and the movie screening everyday in the evening post sunset was super fun. Had a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Location was little far from Gilli Trawangan port but good for peace full stay. Room was clean and cozy. Special mention for complementary Bicycle service which was great. Nice sunset view.

We stayed for our honeymoon and the staff were made it to perfection of every little thing.

Good stay decent staff overall an amazing experience

It was awesome. Superb resort. Location is very good sunset point. But little away from pier, have to pay 500-600 inr to reach there market area. Staff & chefs are very good & cooperative they provide Indian veg food also.

The bes part is the location. Away from hustle bustle and yet close to the Harbour. Good property with daily movie night on the Beach

Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful. Rooms are clean. Beach view super uber amazing. Food is delicious and economical.
