Its a pretty great budget friendly hostel in Singapore's historic and popular Chinatown. Besides the location, its probably one of the best hostels I've been to.
The only thing I will say is while check-in can be done by the machine downstairs, sometimes to get staff help can be a bit difficult - that's why you have to use email or Whatsapp to communicate.
Other than that, definitely would recommend others to come and will be back.
Right place to stay in Chinatown
This is the first time I tried budget hotel. It exceeded my expectation. Friendly staff, very quite place, small but reasonable bed/capsule size.
With CCTV everywhere and card access, I felt safe.
It is also walking distance to Chinatown MRT and Maxwell MRT, which is very convenience since you can choose which MRT to take based on your destination.
Definitely, I will stay again if I travel solo.

Booked through Hotels.Com, the registration code does not apply to the afterhours (7:00 PM) access to the hotel. You need to have the access code via email from the hotel itself.
However, in my case the code was not sent via email until I was already in route - so the code did not reach me. I had to call once at the hotel in order to get the code.
Close to MRT station, centered in Chinatown so there were many shops and places to visit
Capsule was very comfortable, restrooms and shower rooms are very clean

I have stayed several capsule hotels.. and i can say Jyu was the best! Cozy and lovely interior, Clean, Friendly staffs everything was perfect! I will definitely visit again if i have a chance. Thank you!

Outstanding capsule hotel, impressive knocked off version of excellent Japanese capsule hotels. I would say Jyu is amongst the top tiered capsule hotels in Singapore. Brand new, great cleanliness, top rated inhouse facilities and service.
This property is clean and well kept
Very clean and overall a nice place to stay. The staff was nice and location was good as well, especially with the nearest MRT station only a few minutes away.
The only inconvenient things were the placement of the showers and the policy with ”no outside slippers” in the showers, meaning you couldn’t use your own slippers. As the showers were in the same cubicles with the toilets (in some of them almost on top of the toilet seat), everything got quite wet when you took a shower.
But overall very nice place to stay, especially due to high cleanliness!
The rooms and showers are very clean, big capsule.location ideal.
I think the downside is that the lockers are too small for a suitcase/big backpack.
And there are avout 15 people in a room so some night it is busy until late.

I have a good stay here, the environment is clean and quiet, staff are nice and helpful. I also like the self check-in process which is really convenient for late check-in.

Place was clean with nice staff
When I was confused about the automatic check-in, the female staff came immediately and explained it carefully.The capsule room is very bright and clean. The shared spaces are frequently cleaned by staff to replenish equipment. One thing that was disappointing was that there was no problem at night, but no hot water came out in the shower in the morning. Other than this, it is a HOTEL that can be recommended.

Muy limpia la habitación asi como las mini areas comunes. Desde que llegas el check in lo haces a traves de una maquina, y en tu capsula ya esta todo lo necesario.
Unicamente veo como negativo que el personal hace mucho ruido al limpiar, no tienen ninguna consideracion por la tranquilidad del huesped. El area comun es minima
