The property is good overall. The location is nice, very close to sigiriya rock. The rock is visible even from the hotel. The rooms are spacious. They’ve preset triple rooms with 3rd bed nicely laid. Bathroom is good, shower area is separate.

Only property is good from outside and the view other than that food is poor and the toilet was leaking.

They simply said that they are overbooked and they wont be able to give us the room. What they did with us is shifted us to other hotel. Behavior was really bad and we didnt like it at all.

10/10 for location. Amazing view of the lion rock 8/10 for cleanliness. Overall property maintained, clean room, washrooms- floor cleaning could be better- we are indian, we prefer clean corners ocd 12/10 for service- whatever hiccups seen were immediately resolved buffet was good, smiling staff across property. We can recommend to our friends and family who visit sigiriya

Only bad thing about this property is that they charge 20 dollar early checkin charge even if rooms are empty and no customers. 20 dollars early checkin is a bit too much. Apart from this no negative. Everything else is excellent. You can blindly book and stay happily at this place.

The overall experience was alright but there are many things they can improve on; 1. The bathroom door did not shut. It remained unlocked. That should be fixed. 2. Did not have basic amenities like dental kits, shower caps (for 2, pool towels etc. 3. The charges for food and spa are really high. Specially for the kind of hotel it was. The prices did not match the benefits provided. At all. 4. Pizza was really bad. Good parts are that the hotel is located at a convenient and beautiful spot. Staff is friendly and compliant.

Hotel sigiriya is one of the most beautiful stays in sigiriya and it's also very close to the lion rock monument. The view from this place is awesome. Dinesh was taking care of us when we went with our 4 yrs old daughter to the swimming pool. Nimesha from front desk was very sweet and friendly too. All staff are amazing. Must stay place!

I had a very good experience with the Hotel and its services. The hospitality was awesome and the food was also good. The main attraction was the Sigiriya Rock was visible from the Hotel itself and had various games and evening entertainment. Will definitely recommend the stay here. Good luck.

We had a great stay at hotel Sigiriya. It is very near the Sigiriya Rock. The food was lovely. My only suggestion, they should have vegetarian soup as well.

Family stayed two nights in this resort. The pool has an unparalleled view of the lion rock and therefore it is difficult to beat the location of this hotel. The welcome was nice and check-in was very professional by the skilled ladies at the reception (one was named Shani). We arrived at 8 am in the morning 6 hours before the check-in time. They guided us for breakfast and when we were done, our room was ready, which helped us utilize the day fully. The rooms are big and the buffets are enormous. Great traditional Sri Lankan food is served in buffet which most hotels miss out on. What stood out for us was great variety of vegetarian food both in breakfast and dinner buffets. They can use the sprawling resort and add more activities both indoor and outdoor games. They can also plan events in the evenings for guests because there is hardly anything to do in Sigiriya post 6-7 pm. Would be great if vegetarian food is served completely separately as a lot of guests used the same serving spoons for veg and non-veg items kept side by side.
