Below average hotel, ameture staff constantly smoking by the building. We left our indoor breakfast due to staff smoking by the kitchen. Only good thing is the view, very boring hotel. I don’t recommend this place!
Great View!! Amazing location!!..Friendly staff and everywhere is in walking distance. BUT here is the story i have to share with people like ourselves , who really pays attention to others opinions and internet reviews . I have booked the room by my friends recommendations. As soon as i have completed booking , have received and email stating that " unmarried couples are prohibited to stay in the Hotel , thanks for your understanding. " . Let's say you don't have your marriage certificate with you on your trip , if you look young enough to be just ordinary couples , even by PAYING THE FULL AMOUNT THROUGH EXPEDIA , they might say you cannot stay in the hotel. When i tried to reach the Hotel management , they said it's an automatic reply goes to everyone as soon as the reservation is completed. Even though we are married over 20 years it really bothered me . We are in 21st century and who cares about your legal status as long as you go pay the amount and go by the rules and don't bother anyone. My point is , it's a great hotel with very friendly staff BUT the management's mentality is from middle age era. Whoever decides to stay there just be aware that's all!!

I had a very nice stay at Tarabya, yet the check out experience was very bad.
They mandatorily took my car for valet parking when I arrived for the night. The next morning, they crashed my car in front of my eyes while hotel driver was pulling my car from the parking spot. I learned that the licensed valet driver was sent for to an airport pick-up and they had their waiter from their restaurant to drive and pull the parked cars for that time period. The waiter literally didn't know how to drive. He stopped my car 2-3 times on the street.
The hotel manager funnily offered me to pay $30-$60 to fix my car or asked me to leave the car at their place and they’ll get it fixed. My bumper and front right-light had deep scratches, bumper offset from the body that I need to take my car to a body shop. On top of this incident, they charged me $55.06 for the extra bed they brought to my room for my 14 y.o. son even after I paid $429.98 for the room for two nights. Their rooms are very small. Breakfast is not free and overcharged compared to restaurants around. I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
Letting customer’s car drive to a person who doesn’t know how to drive is not an accident! It is lack of responsibility. Under their management logic their valet driver may cook your food at your stay, be careful!
It was nice stays with decent room condition and amazing ocean view. Just one comment for next travelers, just keep in mind there are no grocery stores on site and you need 10~ 15 min walking to grab some foods. I

The marble work of the hotel and room was very luxurious. The room itself was grand with amazing views of the Bosphorus. All around excellent hotel.
Our room had a very nice view of the Bosphorus. The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly.. It;s in a quite neighbourhood... Will go back

A true gem right on Bosphorus. The views are unbeatable. Hotel services are wonderful. Very clean. The personnel are absolutely wonderful. Everybody is very professional, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Home away from home
